The bargain price brought me in. It was clean, bed comforter. Staff efficient. But no housekeeping unless you booked 3 nights. If she needed anything, you had to go to front desk. The bar and grill was supposed to be open 5 to 9, but it was closed because it had no business. The convention center is an homage to past glory days - now less profitable and looking tired (scarred doors, chipped painted frames, vast empty cavern) under capacity occupancy. North tower elevators were down for construction so you had to hike a tortured path to find freight elevator ans all the other guests had to. The parking lot is well lit but being downtown I sort of worried about our car’s safety outside. Nice breakfast. Under construction roadway upgrades in infrastructure to get there - tortured for driving. It made me feel how I feel when I go to the mall, for the demise of that large scale, business model, and the inability to keep appearances maintained to the level and splendor was built to.

The property is dated. Our main complaint was the bed was hard and not comfortable. Breakfast was good.

No food service on weekends except for free breakfast in atrium. Room was too hot upon arrival and had inadequate cooling so we had to have a box fan brought up. Facility was dated.

The balcony rooms you share the balcony with other rooms (safety is a concern). Single women, women traveling alone etc. Rooms are in desperate need of being updated. Carpets are dirty, the bed didn't even fit on the frame, so walking by you would hit your leg. Huge crack on bottom of door leading to the balcony. Checked out of that room and was put in another room and the AC was NOISY and ended up not working correctly. Check out, didn't offer or give a refund. Would not recommend and will not stay again. Also security this place is within 2 -3 blocks of a correctional facility.

My stay it was great. This will be the only place we will stay at.

Old property in need of maintenance.

It was very clean. Stafg was friendly. Breakfast was good. Decent for price. AC in the room was not working well. Very comfortable mattress. Bathroom was very small but had a great showerhead and water pressure. Restaurants either no longer running or just not open on an early Friday evening. Wish indoor pool was open past 9pm. Sketchy elevators.

The elevators were broke and we were put on the very top floor with our dogs. The air conditioning was horrible we had to get a fan from front desk.

Was a decent, until elevator to tenth floor didnt work, and bugs were in the room

Our ac filter was clogged and made room kind of musty but room was clean, beds were comfy, pool and hot tub were clean and nice. Elevator was out and we were on 8th floor so had to use service elevator and wait was a little long with being down to one elevator but was overall really pretty and nice. Would stay again for sure!

A bit outdated but renovations happening staff was pleasant and breakfast was good.

The staff is all so friendly and willing to help however the building is old and out dated.. the air conditioning needs work, the front desk is understaffed, one elevator is down and seems to have been down foreve, the carpet is stained and the rooms smelled like old cigarettes… the lady at the front desk was very accommodating and moved me and my child to a different room even a suite as an upgrade to our room not getting below 75 degrees

Elevator broken, so hot in my room. Had to go up 9 flights of stairs multiple times. Terrible. Smelled like mildew. Someone tried coming into my room to fix a light bulb that worked there without even knocking.

Very outdated property. Hot tub is broken, fitness center has 1 machine missing components. Honestly not enough to call a fitness center. Tv was broken upon arrival in our room. 1 of the 2 elevators is broken and the other one seems to be struggling as it stops not properly aligned with the floor.

Very old building, needs to be upgraded.

During my stay the main elevator that was working failed trapping a few guests in it. The group I was with was rather large and the ability to go up and down 11-12 floors was horrible.

The 2 of the elevators didn't work only had one little freight elevator to serve 12 floors, it was a 30 minutes wait to go up or down.

Property was fine just outdated.

The hotel is beautiful and is easy to find with lots of parking-there is a very nice pool and a nice restaurant-rooms are very clean and staff extremely friendly

Hotel itself was fine. The room was supposed to be handicapped accessible but it was not. The bathroom door not wide enough for my chair to fit. The breakfast was very good.
