The lobby of the hotel was deceiving, it was big and open —very clean. Our room felt damp upon entering. The wall paper was peeling off the walls in many places, I assume from the dampness, and the room had a very unusual smell. I do think they had cleaned the room, but it’s age and things that we’re looking old/ stained made it feel unclean. I reported the dampness, but was only offered a fan, no change of room was offered.

Out dated, smelled old and musty

Staff was friendly.

The breakfast cost over $20 for breakfast. Very expensive, ok quality but definitely not worth the money. I thought I had paid for it with my room but found out it had not gone through and was billed over $40.00 for 2. Bad deal. The restaurant had shut down so ver little amenities. I had stayed in Portland Oregon. Much nicer. Was somewhat disappointed in the Lawrence Kansas location

The property was getting renovated and the air conditioning in the lobby wasn’t working…it was almost 100 outside. The television would work for a few minuted then freeze up. The staff was nice and offered to move us but we just stayed in our room, the air worked ok. Not what you’d expect from a doulble tree property.

The A/C didn’t work this time. There always seems to be something broken at this hotel. We’ve had soaking wet floors, dehumidifiers, broken pool, hot tub, and now no A/C in the common areas. It’s clear they do not take care of the facility. I had the displeasure of running into one of the maintenance staff this visit. He was extremely rude and almost ran me over.

The hotel is very well maintained. The beds are super comfy. The staff is very friendly, from the front desk to the cleaning staff , everyone is very accommodating. I would definitely recommend and I would absolutely stay here again.

The bed was decently comfortable. The room and the entire property was dirty and old. The room was odd.The excutive suite only had a 2 cup coffee instead of a full coffee maker. The restaurant seemed closed. The ac wasnt working in the lobby and several parts of the building so it was really hot. The couch looked dirty. Very brokedown and overpriced.

A great hotel with a restaurant and bar. The hot tub is being repaired. Our room did not have air conditioning and the bar and restaurant are in a conference room because the hotel I assume is being renovated. We asked that someone look at our air conditioning, he came and claimed that it was fixed, but it was not. When we got there, the room was 73° when we got up the next morning the room was 75° with the air conditioning turned on.

Room had a musty smell when we arrived Room was clean and welcoming. Front desk staff were quick and efficient.

Nice property. Air conditioner in lobby was out and hot tub did not work. Everything else was fine.

Amazing and clean

Evening check in staff was the best ever. Very sincere and courteous. Room clean, safe, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was outstanding. Would stay here again. Thank you!

Needs some TLC

Checkbin is by 4:00pm.We got there at 3:00pm and the room wasnt ready.Came back at 4 and the receptionist said give it about 10 more mins.We waited 30 mins and the room still wasnt done.When we finally checked in it was almost 5.Plus the room had not been cleaned at all.The table had stains and there was kids clothing behind the couch.There was no soap or anything in the bathroom.The outside area had dirty cobwebs on the ceiling and all the elevators were broken so we had to walk all the way around everytime we left the room.Will never come back.The receptionist was also kind of rude.It wasnt welcoming at all.

When we arrived for our stay the first room they put us in had no working air conditioning and the toilet was clogged. We were moved to another room where the air did not work either but the toilet worked. We left a day early. The front desk attendant, Natasha, was very helpful in getting refunded for one of my nights since we left a day early. Very disappointed in this hotel and will not be staying again.

Elevator by our room was not working but the stairs were! Pool was nice and open. Nice workout facility. The breakfast was not included and the selection not so much. We had a room with a living room type area with a half kitchen.
