Enjoyed the stay!

The la Ronde restaurant was very cool and an excellent meal. The hotel has character and charm.

The hotel over all was good. Lots of character!!! In its early days it was likely fabulous, but it definitely needs some updating. The staff were great!! Location from our event at Rogers Place.....excellent. The view from the 15th floor over the river valley was spectacular!! The beds were alright. Could really use an upgrade. The bath towels were scratchy but the faceclothes were lovely! The underground parking was convenient. Price was decent for a summer rate. Overall it was a positive stay!

Staff were all very helpful and kind. The hotel definitely shows a lot of wear and tear. The rooms were extremely humid and the shower would cause a big puddle no matter how careful we were. Overall not awful but not as nice as the photos online

Room was really clean and well kept, the building is pretty old and ran down and there’s zero amenities outside of the lounge. Not a bad place to stay if your just coming in for an evening tho.

The hotel is very old. I had only been in the a short managed to get all my hair wet and the room alarm went off and continued to do so until we would keep the bathroom door closed. Needless to say we didn't shower because of that. Didn’t notice a sign until after. Rooms are a bit outdated and have a smell to them when you first walk into it. The ice machine didn’t work on our floor. Ugh Front staff were very friendly which made checking very easy. $26 for parking in their underground parking lot, Ouch.

Overall, we had a great stay. The staff were friendly and were able to accommodate an early check-in, which we really appreciated. The hotel also has underground parking for $25, and although it’s an extra cost, it ended up being well worth it. We happened to be there during the major hailstorm, so it likely saved our vehicle from some serious damage. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of what happened when we checked in. We were assigned a room, opened the door, and found another guest’s luggage in the room with someone asleep in the bed. We immediately closed the door and went back downstairs. The front desk gave us another room, but the situation was handled pretty casually, like this normally happens…However, mistakes happen, but being given an occupied room is a serious privacy and security concern for everyone involved. I expected a bit more urgency or acknowledgment of how significant that mistake was. It definitely reminded us to always use the security latch whenever we’re in a hotel room… 😅

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and through. The property and hotel are very clean, a tad outdated and there’s no quilts on the bed- just a thicker blanket and sheet- which kind of sucked, but overall amazing experience

Too expensive for an old hotel!

It was a great hotel with nice location. We took in the business lounge and had a great snack and some drinks before we headed out. The staff were great and room was nice. Was close to the lrt station and right downtown so really easy to get around!

Have always enjoyed this hotel but this time I was charged $30 for early check in. Not sure how MY room was not available early but A room was ready.......for $30???? A room is a room!

Great location to stay but you pay for it. If you’re looking for a super comfortable bed, continental breakfast and a pool for the kids with convenient parking… This is not it. If you drive anything bigger than a crossover, you’ll be parking on the street about half a block away… The beds were decently comfortable, pillows were OK but the property is really old and sadly enough, staying at a Holiday Inn express or Best Western is about half the price, super comfortable beds, newer facilities with way more amenities but this location is great! If you’d like to be downtown, this is a great choice.

Great location and great concierge floors services for the prices. Have stayed here before and will again
