Rating & Review Keseluruhan Quality Inn Pierre - Fort Pierre

We selected this hotel for the pool and the breakfast, well those did not happen. The pool was drained and that was not listed on the web site. Then for breakfast, I asked the owner to refill the batter for waffles and fruit, after waiting for 40 minutes, we left and had to purchase breakfast elsewhere. This was disappointing since there was a youth activity going on and where about multiple families waiting and leaving too. Also the used toothpick next to the bed was a yuck factor. The lobby was updated nicely and smelled good. However as soon as we hit the stairway the carpet was dirty and you could smell an odor. There has been an attempt to update the rooms. However it has been poorly done. There are cracks in the walls and painting was hastily completed. The room also had an odor of moisture/mildew.

Wouldn't let me cancel one day. The pool was under maintenance. Breakfast on Sunday was out of waffle batter. Apple juice was water and leaking. Sausages were cold. Eggs looked nasty. Sausage gravy and biscuits were gone. No one was helping to correct it.

Kind and friendly service. Very good people

I do like how quiet it is here. I stay here and have to work very early in the morning.

Only complaint was no plug for the bathtub!!

Room was clean and comfy, but chair in yhe room could use a shampooing. Walls are a little thin as we could hear the people next door conversing late at night. Overall, the hotel suited our needs for an overnight stay.

My goodness! The sink was falling off the wall! Carpet on the stairs was stained and needed cleaned. Comforters on the beds were stained and had holes in them. The front desk was very nice and helped with anything we asked. Price wasnt terrible...but the maintence was awful.

Not sure where to start but the hotel was not very clean. The indoor pool wasn’t heated, but door open to the hallway and lobby of the hotel so they were unusually cold. Not sure why they wouldn’t drain the pool if your not going to heat it in the winter. Room had flying bugs, dust, paint jobs that looked half way done, stains on bed sheets and floors. I took a mirror off the wall because mount was coming out, would have fallen if we didn’t. Breakfast area was small, and had less than typical hotel food. When I tried the breakfast I had to microwave the “hot breakfast” items. The parking lot was not plowed, snow everywhere. I’m not sure why Quality Inn hotel brand would put there name to this hotel, we will not stay here again.

Swimming pool, polar swim the water was so cold

Staff was friendly and the breakfast food was adequate. The fitness center felt like a storage closet with storage items stored around the machinery, unorganized, and very cold temperatures.

I enjoyed the stay. It was not very clean. Im pretty sure I left the room cleaner than when i arrived. Maybe i should have received a discount for cleaning it since it was 140 a night. The Indians from India that are taking over here buy these hotels and dont hire locally. Sometimes even fire all the previous employees only to have their family and friends work for peanuts.

I had tried on several times to cancel this because we couldn’t make it. I am so frustrated by the Expedia and this experience with it.

Looked clean but some smells weren’t the most pleasant. Strong food smell in hallway by front door/lobby. Bathroom drains maybe needed to be cleaned. Chair & ottoman were stained, looked like they should be replaced.

We reserved this room to take the kids swimming. Got there and the pool heater was not even working, freezing cold. Would not refund us the money as I think that should be stated in there website when reserving rooms. Ridiculous

After a 15 hour drive and arriving after midnight. Room smelled of strong cat Urine, bathroom and sink had not been clean. Holes and broken outlets in room. When we asked to switch rooms because the smell was overwhelming, was told they were sold out and they refused to place us in a clean room or offer any sort of cleaning service. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Absolutely disgusting

Room was not very clean. Not adequate amount of linens. Door to enter room was hard to open & close. Shelves by beds were dirty. Pillows need to be thrown out and replaced. Check in was nice front desk attendant was friendly.
