Property is close to all attractions, but overall condition of the rooms are very average. Breakfast is below average. No free water, coffee maker in the rooms. I won't be booking this hotel next time.

Dirty, that’s the best way to describe the room. The toilet has the paper used to show that it was cleaned, but it was bot, it was with urine around. Disgusting. After that we found Syringes between the bed and the table. We went there with kids and this was not just dirty, it was dangerous. Not so terrible as the other things but I have to mention it, the breakfast is not good at all, nothing with salt and the only healthy option was some apples. A terrible stay

Couldn’t take a shower because I had half used bottles of shampoo inside my “cleaned” “sanitized” bathroom. Wasn’t informed where or when breakfast was. My pillow had yellow stains on it and there wasn’t a soul to be found at the front desk. Stayed 2 nights and nobody asked if we needed more towels or needed our garbage taken: had to call and ask for garbage bags because no one was at front desk. Mirror in bathroom was not cleaned.

Completely nasty. There was toe nails on the carpet by the bed the shower curtain pole was rusted beyond belief the towels smelled pre used so I went out to Walmart to purchase new clean ones.

In regard to my stay at Wingate hotel in Lake George, this was the most bizarre and disappointing hotel experience I have ever had. 1. There is only one staff member that worked there, and he would only show up when I called the hotel phone number so they could pay him to show up at the front desk. 2. Every morning we left our room, our cards became deactivated. 3. The place looks like it hasn’t been touched in months.

Zaccuzi suite was nice and relaxing for a night getaway

It’s like the Bates Motel- every hotel in town sold out but this one didn’t have a SINGLE car in the lot. We left.

Upon check in, my room had a woman’s used hair curler on the floor. The room temperature was freezing even when I changed the temp. The pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. The next morning when brushing my teeth, the water turned brown. The front desk explained they were flushing th lines but why not do this later in the day when guests are not showering and brushing their teeth? I forgot my charger and unlike other places I’ve stayed they did not offer to mail it back. Very disappointed and will not stay there again.

Loved everything except for the breakfast. It was on the 2nd floor without an elevator. Both my mom and I have I really bad knees. The only hot item was waffles.

Great rooms, and the breakfast was excellent! The staff was very friendly.

I will not try another one of these hotels unless they offer me a partial refund for the night the fire alarm made us have to leave early and they intend to improve conditions. The facility was full of non traveling families who are living in the hotel. I know this because when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and everyone came out we could see that people were living in their rooms. It was also noisy , unclean, and the equipment in the gym was very run down. No meat or eggs served at the breakfast, only highly processed bread based foods and very cheap coffee. Very disappointed.

They were very friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean.

The pillows and blankets were very thin and poor quality and there wasn’t enough staff available to answer questions or help.

There was no water since morning. They couldn't fix it. I left the property without going to washroom. False fire alarm was on whole early morning. They don't know or the responsible person doesn't have the master key or access to the switch room. It was a night mare. Couldn't sleep or anything.

The stay itself was nice and beautiful, and close to all locations we were going. The second night we were there the fire alarm went off a few times and we had to get up. Still unsure of why the alarm kept getting set off.

Many lights in the room didnt work. The hvac was very loud, rattly. Then the 445 am fire alarm sucked

The rooms were not clean Dirty toilet and clumps of hair in the sink and tub drains - dead flies on the windowsill And at 4:30am the fire alarm went off The entire hotel had to go out in the rain for over an hour

We didn’t expect too much from this hotel due to the other reviews. The fact that this facility is two stories and doesn’t have an elevator needed to be mentioned somewhere in the description. My husband had a knee revision recently and while he can walk fine now, it was a challenge to drag our luggage and supplies up and down the steps.
