Rating & Review Keseluruhan Quality Inn Christiansburg - Blacksburg

I was in a handicap accessible room. My biggest complaint is that there was no grab bar by the toilet. It made it extremely difficult to use the facilities because of that. Also, the recliner in the room was very low and difficult to escape. I had to have a couple of very helpful men pull me out of it as I was not able to do so on my own since I have extremely bad knees. I feel like a truly handicap accessible room should not have these issues.

The room was very clean however I didn't enjoy not having access to ice. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

Room not clean

Remodeling is great. I will stay again.

Mold was in our room. The manager called to argue that it was mildew (still a type of mold). The front desk guy did switch our rooms but it was disgusting. Second room was a lot better. They wasn’t going to open the pool either.

I did not realize that the doors were to the parking lot and traveling alone I didn’t like that. Virginia tech graduated and I had drove for 13 hours. So I was tired and there was nothing left. First room smelled really bad. Second room was better but faucets and hand bar in shower were not connected. Someone played a harmonica outside my room one night. Not bad just weird. Cracker Barrel was right next door so that was great for me. I had booked 3 nights and the manager would not let me out of the next 2 nights even after hotel.com called them. So I couldn’t go anywhere but there because they had charged my credit card $700 for 3 nights. Next time I will book one night at a time until I see the place! My fault.

There was construction going on. Not disturbing just looked bad. The room was in need of an update and the cleaning staff did a poor job cleaning the tub as there was evidence of mold growing. I mentioned this to the on duty staff as I was checking out.

Access to restaurants

Staff was good! Was not able to get television working on my own but the young man at the desk was able to help. The coffee pot did not work but the front desk gave me all I wanted. Conditions were OK but the staff was really good!

Clearly refurbished rooms. They've been doing this for a couple of years but every stay I've had here has been great

Great place, fast check in. Safe and quiet property.

Gentle man at check in was very nice and professional. Property is under renovation but areas were clean, room was clean and well maintained.
