Rating & Review Keseluruhan Sandman Signature Edmonton Downtown Hotel

Check-in went well, the staff was friendly and helpful in explaining parking, etc. The room appeared nice with a good view from the 14th floor. The bathroom wasn’t very clean with a used makeup wipe laying on the floor beside the garbage can and a clump of someone’s hair falling out of the hand towel when I unfolded it. There were candy, peanuts and dust bunnies visible on the floor indicating the floor behind the sofa hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, gave me an upgrade and treated me well. Its in the heart of downtown so it was a little sketchy for me as a single woman traveling alone. Thankfully there is lots of security everywhere.

Stay was great and staff were fantastic, very accommodating

Enjoyable stay other than our neighbours, who were talking quite loudly. Called to complain and apparently they sent security, unfortunately, the residents didn’t respond. Called again and was basically told to “pound sand” by the employee; had to put on the “white noise” so that my kids and I could finally fall asleep at 2 am!!!

The hotel was great. Downtown Edmonton however is under major road repair and it took us close to 30 minutes navigating closed streets, dead ends and one way streets to get to the parking garage.

What was unique is that the hotel was connected to a mall, underground parking, pool on the highest floor and overseeing downtown. The staff was amazing and very informative.

Check in was a nightmare. We got there at about 3:45 and the lineup took hours .

The room was not cleaned properly. There was food left in the drawer from previous customer that was not thrown away. The sofa in the room had lots of hair and washroom ventilation was not working. It was not mentioned at the parking pay machine that the parking fee can be paid at reception. We ended up paying extra fee at the reception later to cover up the time until check out as parking payment downstairs was only good until 6am next day. Overall it was not a good experience.

Very comfortable and great location

Love the location and the accessibility to the mall and other locations without having to venture outside. Staff were knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly.

The Security was excellent and the hotel staff was great! The only thing I didn't like was the parking rate; it should have been reduced a bit for hotel guests.
