I stayed at the Sonesta for almost a week while in Cairo. The room was spacious and comfortable, my bed was very comfortable. The entire hotel is well maintained and up-to-date. The staff were attentive and polite, though as a hotel that hosts numerous travel groups it can be very busy. The location is well situated close to the airport, but it is probably half an hour by car from major attractions. One plus is that it is just 10-15 minutes’ walk from the Stadium metro station should you wish to see Cairo that way.

Large, clean, well appointed room and bathroom. The mattress was in good condition (no sagging in the middle or the side). Lighting was good. Blackout curtains provided privacy and insulation against the sun and the air con worked well. Reception was polite, efficient and knowledgeable checking in and out. Several restaurants available within the hotel including an Italian venue with excellent food and service. Bottled water was used in food prep and ice for drinks. No Pharaoh’s curse! A grand hotel located about 15 mins. from the airport but about 45 mins. from site seeing activities. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff are super nice First room was not up to expectations i discussed it with customer service, she decided to move me to another room at another floor where everything was perfect Only one thing i spent a week and the food at the executive lounge was the same all week

The hotel has room that need to be renovated to be honest. It has plumbing issues. I saw water leaked from the ceiling in the corridor. The buffet is ok, but I think they just have to allow guests to get their own coffee to be more efficient. A coffee machine is the solution.

Not very good service from the front desk unfortunately

Dans l'ensemble,c'était bien. Un commentaire constructif: Les plafonds a l'hôtel sont très hauts alors quand la musique embarque sur l'heure du souper on ne sentend pas parler alors ça devient un irritant.

Bra hotell med flera middags alternativ. Hög säkerhet. Mycket Trevlig personal. Mindre bra , duschmöjligheter på våning 10 . Mkt dåligt vattentryck

The front desk staff were awesome. Michael gave me a nice tower room. The hotel is nice, and the spa is good but could use some renovation. Overall, it’s a good hotel with only minor improvements needed.

Luxorious hotel not too far from the airport. Traffic noise does not bother. Expensivish food/beverage, but room prices compensates that very well. Hourly transport from hotel to airport a bonus.

Very good hotel close to airport. Nice service. The Lebanese restaurant is very good; the Sushi one not at all…
