Under construction, no parking, rooms were old, shower was disgusting.

I primarily booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub, which we’re NOT in service. The room tub facet didn’t work properly and leaked constantly. The room didn’t appear vacuumed. The service wasn’t friendly and food was over priced. They were also stingy with room towels, was only

Pretty pricey for not a lot of amenities

Check in took forever because i had paid through 3rd party. Room was clean and comfortable. However night 2 came in to no hot water. Called desk and she said none til next morning. She could offer free breakfast . Next day no hot water in the morning. It was on that afternoon when we got back from work. Pool was closed. Lots of remodeling. Asked for sales manager. Each time we were told not available. Ww were going to extend our stay but decided to go somewhere else. Also privacy blind does not go all the way down. You have to block the window for privacy.

I could not find my reservation for this property for some reason in the app as I was driving over 5 hours to bring my daughter to college in Boone NC. It was late at night and I was starting to worry so I tried to call but couldn’t get anyone to answer. I then booked another reservation at another hotel because it was late and I didn’t want to get there at 1 am with no place to stay. A few days later, I realized a charge was made to my credit card so I immediately reached out to Expedia, I explained the situation and the trouble I had I ended up paying over $100 more at the other hotel so I would’ve gladly stayed at the Holiday Inn had I been able to pull up the reservation or get someone on the phone. Expedia tried to call them multiple times and had to chase the manager around to try to get someone on the phone only for them to be so insensitive to the situation and they were not willing to budge so I ended up paying $124 for a mistake that was not my fault and they refused to credit it back. I do not recommend this hotel, they are not customer first!!!!! There are many other decent hotels in the Boone area check their first!!! I will be traveling to Boone to visit my daughter, but I will not be staying at this hotel!!

When we arrived at 10PM, parking was an issue as a significant portion of the lot was being used for construction storage for work on an adjacent lot. The room we reserved a month ago was not available. Rate charged was more than advertised. But it was late and we were exhausted. Asked for extra towels and bedding (because we did not receive the room we reserved). Finally received them after midnight, requiring multiple calls and a trip to the front desk. Second night - same request and essentially same result. This time no one answered when we called and we decided to just go to the front desk and wait. People who worked there were perfectly friendly - just appeared understaffed and not overly motivated.

It was a nice hotel, the room was clean, my night was quiet. Due to nearby construction the parking was a little lacking. An i didn't realized when I booked that breakfast was not included.

Not clean, pool out of service, rooms smell bad. No breakfast free in the page don’t specify that if you want breakfast you need to pay for each person.

The hotel prices were inflated for App State check in. Then to arrive and see that the pool and Jacuzzi were out of order. No continental breakfast as stated in the listing. The property is under construction but if it had maintained properly it would have been more pleasant.

It was easy to get to. Room was nice.

One night stay, easy check in amd check out. Every amenity we could need overnight.

The desk clerk at check in was great. She went out of her way to solve reservation problems, We originally booked at Holiday Inn Blowing Rock but had reservations canceled less than 24 hours before our trip. They said a broken water main was the reason for cancelling our reservation, so we then rebooked in Boone. It turns out that after being told that they had a pool and hot tub, they were both not working. I would definitely not go back to Holiday Inn.

Wish I would have known the pool was closed prior to booking considering I’m traveling with 2 kids.

Broken blind, sink, and stopped up shower. The pool was out of service and they have the same guys working front desk and breakfast restaurant.
