Super staff, great breakfast. Ok pool and leisure activities. Outdoor bar not open. No outside visibility from gym. Carpets in all room floors.

I give this hotel a perfect 5-star rating! Although the Horizon Club Lounge was under renovation during part of our stay, the service remained exceptional. Special thanks to Jenny—her professionalism and warmth left a lasting impression. We had a delightful time at Shangri-La!

The hotel is in a good location. Very nice and friendly service staff. Will be back again.

The food quality is great. I really enjoyed the breakfast and the afternoon happy hour (all complementary; afternoon happy hours comes with Horizon room booking). If you are looking for a place to experience different kinds of food, this is the place to go. The Shang Palace is also great: we emptied all dishes. The outdoor pool is clean, with water temperature at 30C; the waterside has no wait and kids did maybe 100 laps on them among 3-day stay. There’s place to rent water canon by the pool which also worked great and added to the fun. Overall next time I come back to Guangxi I will come here for family vacation again.

it was overall a pleasant stay at the hotel. Service is great. Not so impressed with the city though. I thought it was under developed. But i enjoyed the whole weekend at this amazing outdoor pool at hotel. And its right next the beach-ish side. So you can a walk after dinner in the evening.

The facility is great and the restaurant on property provides good variety of Chinese food. The view from my room is wonderful.

The front desk staff was very helpful and professional. The outdoor swimming pool (clean and within nature) and the sauna was perfect to end the day for a relaxing sleep.

Very nice and happy experience but so quiet in lobby bar no entertainment at night no one play the piano and there is no senior management staff around the hotel

Great hotel swimming pool for kids - that’s all they needed dawn till dusk. Seems all other children had the same idea. Pool side bar also very reasonable with decent prices BBQ food and beer

This property is old. Inside the bedroom is not in its best condition.

Hotellet er ved at være meget slidt,og maden i restaurant er typisk Kinesisk,af et internationalt hotel at være. Der findes i nærområdet væsentlig bedre alternativer i samme prisleje. Personale virkelig søde og hjælpsomme og gør hvad de kan inden for de rammer de har at gøre godt med. Overordnet ok ophold men vil vælge andet alternativ næste gang.

We had great experience during our stay. The location is conveniently near the sea underwater park and old town. The staffs all very pleasant. The sea view room has great view to the sea, room is pretty big and comfortable. The breakfast is OK, lots of choices for Chinese and local dishes (a little bit lack of protein rich healthy ones for me personally).

Very good service and the sea view was great, the other good thing is the swimming pool, we love this hotel and will definitely stay at the Shangri-la again next time.
