Onze ervaring in één woord: fantastisch! Prachtig hotel, mooie en ruime kamers met een eigen inkomhalletje dat geluiden van de gang buffert. Er stond een fles cava in een ijsemmer mét ijsblokjes op de kamer bij onze aankomst (helaas hadden we een reservatie in een restaurant en hebben we ze niet gekraakt;-) Als we een taxi vroegen, liep een meisje van het hotel de taxi's op straat tegemoet. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en verzorgd. De hotelbar is aantrekkelijk; het hele hotel straalt klasse uit. Volgende keer in Barcelona? Niet twijfelen! Dit is een ongelofelijk hotel voor een heel goede prijs.

Beautiful hotel. Staff could not be more pleasant, helpful and obliging. Excellent location for walking around Barcelona. Would recommend to anyone, and we have. Our teenagers loved this hotel too.

A welcoming staff and a great location. My room was quiet and next to the elevators but no worry, it was quiet. The air during the day struggled, better keep those black out drapes closed and it helps. At night the room does cool !!! In the morning the rooftop deck is amazing! Pool is a plunge pool . Breakfast had great selections and was delicious.

Beautiful hotel. Spacious and clean rooms. Bathroom HUGE! Rooftop pool was gorgeous and perfect to relax and cool off after being out in VERY hot weather sight seeing.

The room had a musty, damp smell to it. Like it was coming up from the bathroom pipes. They came to try to fix it, but nothing helped. The room was very dark because the window outside were frosted because the view was in a closed cart yard viewing other hotel windows. The staff were helpful, but not very friendly.

We stayed here for one night, and overall it was fine for a short stay. The hotel’s location is definitely its biggest advantage. We were in the area mainly to go shopping, so it was extremely convenient and we really appreciated being within walking distance of everything. That said, the room and the overall hotel have a very dark aesthetic. While it looks modern, it also makes it difficult to tell whether everything is actually clean. Our bathroom had a lot of humidity, and we noticed a small moisture bug crawling on the wall, which wasn’t very pleasant. The air conditioning also wasn’t working properly, which was especially disappointing during a heat wave and made the room quite uncomfortable. Overall, it’s an acceptable option for one night if location is your priority, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay.

Utterly superb!!!!!! Everything....room, beds, staff, amenities, roof top room, breakfast. Couldn't fault it. A truly 5 star stay - I say that having stayed in Barcelona countless times. When I return, I'm only staying here! Glass of cava, sitting in their rooftop pool looking at the Barcelona Skyline and Sagrada Familigia? PRICELESS. The staff were all absolutely delightful, friendly, happy and very welcoming, helping with every request. (Cuitat Comtal a few doors away on the corner does the best tapas in Barcelona BTW; no bookings just show up). Together, Avenida Palace and Cuitat Comtal provide the best experience of Barcelona you could possibly have!

Fick ett nyrenoverat rum som var rent och fräscht med bra luftkonditionering. Bra frukost, trevlig och hjälpsam personal, bor gärna här igen vid nästa besök i Barcelona.
