It's July at the Jersey shore. They sent me to a room where I find the AC unit taken apart- cover off of it and wires hanging, obviously not in working order. When I went back to lobby to report this, the people that checked in just before me were complaining that they had no AC in their room. Then a second person was saying the same thing. I should have seen what was coming, but was still hopeful. The next room they sent me to, I turn the AC on, nothing. The third room, (which they told me was the last available) walked in, it was at least 90 degrees with a box fan running on the dresser. Tried the AC unit - nothing. How can you book rooms in July and not have working air conditioning?
Just awful - I ended up having to drive home late at night which was what I wanted to avoid and why I booked the room in the first place. I am hoping they do the right thing and refund the fees 100%
