Not very clean around the facility and inside.

Overall it seemed run down. It could use some up grades.

mold on the bathroom ceiling room 118 and the handle on the outside of the sliding door is on backwards hard to open or close, did not slide well

Very nice beachfront hotel. We had an amazing view. Enjoyed our stay! Clean rooms, quiet area, close to all attractions/downtown.

The room was spacious and the AC worked great. It was mostly clean, just the floor had not been swept. The hot tub was nice after a long day of walking. The ice was not convenient to get for our room. We would have had to leave our building and go across the parking lot to another section to find the ice machine. We were on the 3rd floor with no elevator available, and i have health concerns that affect going up and down stairs.

the hotel was not prepared for the amount of guests for breakfast. Ran out of everything and it was very limited on dining time only 2 hours. The shower had poor water pressure only a trickle came out. The carpet looked like it was stained and very old. The mattress wasn't update in 10 years, very lumpy.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. We loved our balcony room on the beach as well. A very relaxing stay.

At breakfast the hot foods were cold. The opened windows didn't have screens in them so bugs could come in.

Terrible parking.

Hotel is in grwat location, easily walkable to most of the downtown area. Breakfast is lacking, so you may want to nake other plans

Quick check-in. Comfortable room Loud AC and breakfast room was really warm-which admittedly probably is not a normal occurrence. Heat wave

It was gross. The smell was covered up pee with pine sol... So gross. The room has dirty torn carpet. Very old and worn out. The bathroom fan was loud, sounded like it was landing a plane. The lights didn't have a cover. The fridge was on the fritz and made a million noises. Which made us turn it off. So it was pointless. I could hear every single whisper outside the door. Do not recommend until they invest in their property and upgrade.

Fairly priced but room was in Poor condition. Shower handle was wonky, bathroom vent did not work. Overall it wasn’t a great experience. On the plus side they did have a washer and dryer available!

Breakfast no good

We stayed for 4 days and our room was never cleaned. I'm sure this is part of being "eco-friendly". Two small garbage cans (in bathroom next to toilet and under the sink) are not enough for 4 days. We had to request fresh bath towels and toilet paper on the 3rd day and had to go to the office to get the items requested. The breakfast consisted of pancakes and ham for hot options. then rolls and cereal. It was the same every morning. The mattresses are FIRM. I had a backache from them. I don't much like Firm, I prefer a mattress that softer. I was diagnosed with cancer 6 month ago, so I am trying to plan trips with my family to make memories. I love Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island and enjoyed both. The hotel, not as much. There could be some improvements.

While the staff are nice, the property sorely needs an update. The bathroom was showing signs of age like mildewed caulking, broken tiles, etc. The furniture was ancient. In addition, if you have a problem with stairs, be sure to ask for an accessible room. The only beachfront rooms that don't require stairs are the ground level rooms.

Clean. Spacious room. Pleasant experience at reception.

The staff were great our room was clean and comfy and a great location with a beautiful view. However there were some small things that needed attention like a few loose tiles in the bathroom, outside hall lamps that worked but were consmetically damaged, but overall a positive experience and I would stay there again.

Check in staff was great & fasr, but the room was dirty and had a horrible smell. No paper products in the bathroom and we had to try to track someone down to get some. Hotel needs a big upgrade.

The hotel didn’t have a very high rating, so I wasn’t expecting a great property. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was! It was an older building & a little tired looking, but it was very clean & seemed to be well maintained. I would definitely stay here again! Beachfront room was a huge bonus!
