A room for us should have been ready by 4 pm. Our room wasn't ready until 7:30 pm. We should have received some sort if compensation.

I have been staying here when in the area for over 20 years. My “go-to” when in this area!

Our room was spacious but a little rough around the edges. We only stayed one night so it was fine. Best free breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel! Sign in parking garage were very confusing on how to access hotel from elevator.

Rooms

Hotel had a very nice location. Service was poor. Was switched out of a Riverview room to a room overlooking the parking lot. I was told that the Riverview rooms were overbooked and that I would be discounted the difference between rooms. This did not occur. When entering my room, there was no bedding on the bed. All after a 30 minute wait to check in. The breakfast was good and always seemed fresh. Parking was accessible and free, which was surprising due to the location.

Loved being able to walk across the bridge over the Ohio River to attend a Cincinnati Reds MLB game—it was a great visit and stay..

so disappointed we left a day early. in bad need of an update. dirty, stained sheets, hair in bathtub. NOT mine mine is short and gray - these were long and dark. breakfast was great - not good enough to stay longer, but they do have that going for them. inconvenient to get from street level to go up 4 floors to check in. the two individuals working the desk when we checked in were not friendly at all, not helpful as explaining breakfast reception times, location, breakfast times, etc. later we had reason to talk to other staff members who were great. I would not recommend this hotel - there are too many others around the same area. stay away!!

Plenty of restaurants /activities within walking distance of the Hotel

Went to check-in for our reservation at 4:30 and they did not have a room for us until 7:25.

Liked i could walk to the ballpark. Hotel needs updated.

Overall a decent place but old and in rough shape. Upgrades were not well done. Mold around tiles in bathroom and a ceiling.

Nice pillows

Embassy didn't disappoint however there were several things I found odd. There weren't enough towels, out of conditioner, no body wash, no soap. There was a moldy smell that eventually stopped as temp dropped in the room, smell decreased. Valet was very overworked so we didn't use it but had already gotten a ticket, so we had to provide proof we had purchased parking, simply a ticket. The pool was nice for the kids. Free breakfast was AMAZING!!! Lots of options. The workers were very cool and friendly. The omelet chef was superb. Front staff were polite and responsive.

Front desk services need a lot of work. Slow, and unorganized. Over booked my room and gave to to an honor member. Wait times for check-in was well over an hour.

Great location for going to a baseball game! Walking distance to downtown Covington with its restaurants and cat café!

Great stay - right on the river. Staff is awesome!

Arrived for check in at 4:00 PM, waited in line for 30 minutes. Once we got to front of one they said our room wasn’t ready, they said to wait 45 minutes and get back in line. We waited in lobby. We missed the free drinks do to not being checked in yet. We ended up not being able to check in and take a shower before dinner and had to wear our clothes from game to dinner. Hotel never reached out to tell us room was ready. Was finally able to check in around 11:30 PM. As confirmed by the check in staff at that time this was completely unacceptable. In my 43 years on earth I’ve never had a check in go any worse. Rooms were clean and breakfast was great!

Great location, very convenient.

Staff was always courteous and even when issues were brought to their attention, I felt they were doing the best they could. They were full. This isn’t the old Embassy Suites. In need of daily maintenance. Room did not get below 75. Toilet seat very loose and phone didn’t work. Ran out of coffee at breakfast but wasn’t replenished. Best thing about hotel is location. Will stay again.

The staff was amazing! I'd specifically like to recognize Brian at the front desk and the gentleman who made the omelets. Every request that I made was met with a smile and great customer service. The property can use some updates. Our carpet was ragged, and the bathroom needed caulk work. Overall, I'd stay here again and ask for an updated room.
