1. Wasn't clear what the VIP benefit was? 2. Charging $40 for overnight parking was unexpected (ended up parking on the street outside) 3. Rooms were poorly insulated--could hear people coughing and ***ing in the next room. 4. Not worth $400+/night

Loved the garden’s and the spa. Multiple restaurants and pools. The 18-hole golf course adds to the experience

Pool was dirty. Ac didn’t work in our room. The walls are so thin we could hear people till 2am

Overall great property. It is a bit older and need to be upgraded in certain rooms. I complained about being kept up all night from neighbors above me and no one addressed my inconvenience or concerns. I received only a text message empathizing with me but nothing occurred.

Loved Everything about the Property,the Aervice was Excellent especially around the Pool where Kelly was Outstanding as was Peter in support.

Outside patio was very nice in the morning for coffee and the evening sitting outside with a glass of wine. Room was very comfortable as was sleeping accommodations. Huge big screen for watching a baseball game was terrific. Grounds were beautiful. Check-in easy as was check-out. Valet parking was well worth it! Highly recommend.

5 stars all the way. This property is quite lovely, especially if you’re out all day at the San Diego Zoo and/or Safari Park. The grounds are relaxing, pools quite nice, restaurants OK but there are great options in town, rooms are true resort-level rooms. We LOVED it here. Came with our 13yo daughter.

There is an additional resort fee you pay when you arrive and a $100 per night deposit.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. We called on maintenance for a toilet issue and he came quickly, fixed it, and was ultra polite and friendly. The food at the outdoor patio was delicious!

Staff was not very polite. Gave me wrong information about location of room.

Wonderful old school luxury.

Everyone at the property are extremely nice. When we checked in we were not having a great afternoon and were full of frustrations from a different hotel. The front desk employee was so nice to us and turned our day around. He was accommodating and gave us the best possible room for our budget. The inns vibes were great as well. The grounds are well maintained and has such a classic look. We came during movie night and my kids had a great time watching the movie and swimming at the same time. We will be coming back.

The staff is splendid and the property is beautiful! We loved the tranquility walking around exploring the property. Food was amazing! Our suite was clean, beautiful and we had a great view of the golf course.
