Rating & Review Keseluruhan Holiday Inn MONTREAL-LONGUEUIL by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Hotel was great, the breakfast buffet was a bit pricey, we did not know about it until we checked in. There was a party on the Saturday night and it was pretty noisy.

Hotel was clean and staff were nice. Stairs were not usable to get to rooms and Elevators were always very busy. Was noisy due to a wedding/event and kids running in halls. Breakfast was great.

Chambre très propre et bien aménagé. Seul point négatif: il faisait très chaud dans la chambre et nous y sommes allé début avril! Nous avons ajusté le chauffage mais rien à faire.

Tres bel accueil à notre arrivée et chambre avec une belle vue.

Nous nous sommes restauré sur place aussi, nous avons bien mangé. Repas offert pour les enfants de -11 ans excellent Des travaux en cours alors bon pour la partie piscine j’espère c’est dû aux travaux,

The location of this hotel is conveniently close to downtown Montreal and La Ronde, but the direct surroundings are very bland. Old Longeuil is a short drive away and has some nice restaurants to choose from. We had breakfast at the hotel. This was a buffet with an excellent range of options. The hotel was wrapped in scaffolding on the outside, and the view from our room was more scaffolding. Thankfully, we stayed during a weekend and were not bothered by construction noise. The inside of the hotel looks very nice and modern with a large atrium around which all the hallways and rooms are situated. This makes it looks very nice, open and light, but unfortunately it also makes it very noisy. The sound from the bar and from people walking and talking in all the hallways carries into your room. Granted, the bar closes at 10pm, but that might be too late for some people. For us, the noise was enough of an issue that we will likely not stay in this hotel again.

Not in the best area- alli industrial Cleaning product ( carpet deodorizer?) used smells so strongly like perfume it was unpleasant. We found chips under the night table from the previous occupants ( we did not bring chips). Front desk staff were super nice and efficient.

En rénovation donc stationnement difficile et une ascenseur de brisée sur deux donc l’attente était longue puisque nous étions au 6e étage.

Would have be nice to know the whole property was under repair before we arrived. Would have changed locations. Elevator was hit and miss for working and our group got stuck a few times in it. Booked three rooms and everyday was a cold shower for the two nights we were there. Overall wasn’t impressed with the hotel. Will be the last time I’m back.

We stayed for 2 nights for a sporting event. The hotel is dated but has gone through some renovations. The front staff was great. Our cleaning lady knocked on the door both mornings despite their being a Do Not Disturb sign. There was another group of sports kids there that were running around the halls all night. The area did not have a lot around for food. We ate at the bar/restaurant that was on site. The food was good and came out quick. Would be nice if it were open past 10pm.
