This place is a hidden gem. Probably no 5 star but for comfort and convenience you can't beat the price very clean.

The property advertises a hot tub on Expedia, but upon check-in we discovered the hot tub had been removed.

The hotel was clean and convenient to the town. Walkable to downtown and very close to both colleges. Easy to get to, right on main drag.

The bathtub/shower had no safety features at all, no grab bars or ways to enter or exit, plus a very slippery tub floor. Would not pass any kind of safety inspection. Also, our room had an abundance of tiny little mites on both the bathroom floor and walking around in our bed linens (they were too tiny to show up on a camera phone but could be fairly easily seen by the naked eye. Fast crawling, beige/grey, could jump).

Issue w tv dixed promptly by staff.

Location can’t be beat - walkable to all the best places in town. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Some areas of the hotel seem a little outdated but still clean!

Country Inn and Suites in Northfield is clean, newly renovated and my stay was comfortable. But there is nothing that stands out - it is an average, cookie-cutter American hotel with dull furnishings and vending machines. I have no idea how my stay there is worth $230 per night when nothing out of the ordinary was provided.

The hotel staff were great. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was that one of the hotels hot water heaters was not working. The front desk for warned us about it. We could only get luke warm water in the shower.

Very clean, quiet, and convenient- felt very safe. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Close proximity to St. Olaf college and Carleton college campuses. Would stay there again!

It served its purpose, but was too close to a busy main road for me. And, a train track ran right behind it. Still, it’s a fine place to stay while traveling as long as you’re aware.

The person who worked in the evening was very friendly and accommodating. Very interested and engaging with the kids. The breakfast had lots of options.

We like staying here when we're visiting our college student in Northfield. It's a convenient place to stay, there are lots of bridges across the river to walk over to Division street and Carleton's campus, and the hotel is quiet and well kept. The price is right. The train runs quite close to the hotel, so we heard some long trains at night, but we still rested well.

Really appreciated the inclusion of breakfast that wasn’t just continental morning items.

1bedroom suite was perfect compromise for us and our teen. Room was large, sitting area had lots of good seating. Hotel was well maintained and serviced great.

Kind person checked us in.

When we booked the stay both a pool and spa was listed as amenities. When we showed up the spa was cemented over (recently as it still had cones blocking it off.) However, they still haven’t updated the photos to reflect this significant lack of amenity. We never would’ve booked this stay if it was made known it was no longer there.

They advertise having a hot tub, but they do not have one.

Fine, nothing special. Clean, nice people, etc.
