Employees were very friendly and overly willing to help in any way possible hotel was clean and very welcoming

We liked the Suite. The breakfast had a variety of items. A good price for our visit.

We checked in at 3:30pm to get my daughter dressed for prom. Notice there was a dirty floor by the door and dust in the bathroom by the towels. Should’ve taken photos- I specifically got a room at this hotel for the hot tub use- which was not in working order. So very disappointed - we were not informed prior to our stay. Many people complaining at breakfast about being congested- I informed them it was the feather pillows, which is an allergen.

Country Inn has really changed over the last 20 years and not in a good way. It is right across the street from the Birch Run outlets but I will not stay here again. Frankenmouth is worth driving to for a better stay. The staff here is wonderful and they did their best to help in every possible way. But shame on this hotel owner for allowing the rooms to look so terrible. Ripped curtains and a taped up (Yes, taped) hot tub is not what you are advertising in the bookings. Also had a couple insects in our room which was not a nice suprise. Very run down and a bit dirty. And the hot tub inside the pool area was also out of order. The hotel does not look anything like the online photos anymore. It was quiet but I do not recommend anyone staying here.

This hotel is dirty. Unfortunately, the first room they put us in had not been cleaned at all. After that they put us in another room that had been partially cleaned. The beds were made but there was hair everywhere and a used wet bath mat. They finally moved us to a 3rd room and the second bed was literally broken and unusable. When you sat on it, the bed tipped. Furniture broken. Lights not working. The whole property had not been vacuumed in some time. I don’t usually leave bad reviews and honestly find myself pretty easy to please but nobody wants to sleep in a dirty room. The staff was nice enough to move us several times but that should not have had to happen. Breakfast was nice. The hot tub is not working and looks like it’s growing algae. Just overall really gross hotel. Please save yourself a headache and just stay someplace else!

Sign in clerk friendly. After signing in, we inquired about Hot tub. She told us not working for week. My sole reason for booking this hotel was hot tub. Why they didn't post it before booking, very disappointed. She had no answer. Bed so hard, I tossed and turned all night.

Our first room we were given was still under construction and we had to go back to the front desk to get another room. The overall hotel needed a lot of repairs.

Our stay was great. I just recommend having your cleaning staff vacuum all the dust and clean the mattresses that’s pushed against the wall. Other than that it was very pleasant.

We checked in at the desk, went to the room, it was filthy, upon opening the door you could see pebbles, sand and rice on the entry tile to the carpet. There was sand and hairs on the floor and in the tub. Went to use the fan and noticed black mold on the curtains above the a/c - heater unit. Decided not to stay. Checked out. Couldn’t get a refund because we were there longer than the allowed 30 minutes. Literally dropped bags off and went to dinner, came back to the room and noticed the curtains. Would not go back and would not recommend.

Hot tub wasn't working, and bed was too hard!

Easy parking and checkin, close to outlet but quiet.

Pool was disgusting, hot tub was out of order. First room had a tub with the enamel peeled off in a 6 inch slice.

The place was decent. It was quiet without any real hassle. The rooms could be cleaned a tad bit better.. some blood stains on the curtain and one on the bedsheet. My kids found items previous tenants had left. The breakfast is good and plentiful, the service is prompt and nice and the price is decent. Not disappointed.

The door did not line up with the frame appropriately and there was a gap you could see right out into the hallway. This was on the lock side making it seem unsafe. I asked to change rooms and the next room was exactly the same. The curtain was ripped as well. The night check in clerk was not friedy and never smiled and told me he had never had a complaint about the doors before. The morning desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Overall I was disappointed in my stay and felt that the property manager just didn't really care about the property or guest comfort.

In your hotel rooms could have more comfortable chairs and more than 1 chair. Than your tv options kinda sucked. You had to guess what channel you were on. No guide that you could look at or had no info how to use the tv.

The stay was a major disappointment. First off, they put us in a room that was not what I requested. The very nice young man at the desk "upgraded" us to what I had reserved, but our key cards wouldn't work, and the master key card wouldn't work. Turns out the battery in the lock was dead. The phone was dead so we couldn't call the desk, the smoke alarm was hanging by a wire, the hair dryer was missing from the room, the carpet was dirty and the bed was as hard as a board. Also, the water in the pool was cloudy and the entire lobby smelled of chlorine. The in-room Cuisinart coffee was nasty. I'll never stay here again.

Nice stay close to shopping.

Everything was nice except they never said anything about the hot tub not working. Only when I went and asked. Oh sorry the hottub is out of order.That is the main reason I booked there.

It needs a lot of repairs and updates. Won’t stay there again. To many issues and problems and they aren’t honest enough to tell people before they book that their pool vent system isn’t working so it makes you sick going in there. Rooms aren’t clean very dirty and nasty. Had wash clothes hanging in our shower that the maid didn’t see from other people that stayed there. Hairs in the tub, dried food and dirt on covers. Just wouldn’t recommend
