Did not know that it was pet friendly the hotel smelled stuffy

The property need maintenance.

My first visit was okay.. the room could have been maintained a tad better, but any issues was minor. After deciding I was going to stay an extra night.. I was able to book a different room. This room was maintained great, but the TV didn’t work.

Very clean and pleasant room

We checked in and went to our room. As soon as walked into the room we were hit with a mold and musty smell. There was a dehumidifier in the room that was covered in mold. We went back down stairs and asked for a different room. The staff was accommodating and we changed rooms but it didn’t change the outcome. The second room had the same smell with another dehumidifier in it. In the bar area off the lobby there was a significant leak with a garbage can catching all the water. We ended up leaving and booking a different hotel. I will be requesting my money back. When we first arrived there was a couple in front of us trying to get their money back from their stay, I didn’t think much about it at the time but in hind sight, they decided to leave too.

The most run down property , filthy , unkempt

We weren’t in hotel for long periods except to sleep/clean up. Smelled clean & fresh when we arrived, but mustier by the day. Our tv remote had issues but after several tries, got it handled. Front desk and maintenance were wonderful. Refrigerator worked great! Hotel was in a good location for gol and downtown St Augustine.

Everything was fine until I turned the water on to shower and the water pressure was so bad and not to mention the hot water wasn’t working all that well.A little disappointed in that area and also when I asked for more linen and clean ones they never came up to my room to deliver them.5 hours later I came back to my room and still didn’t have them

Out of hot water evening. House keeping skipped room cleaning..towel change several days.

We hope to visit this location again.

Clean and welcoming!

This is definitely and older hotel, but it does its job as a hotel quite well. The staff is quite friendly and accommodating. When we asked for another room, we were provided one immediately wothout any issues. The staff at the entrance always made sure to greet us whenever we entered the hotel and wished us a great day/evening when we left. The rooms are all updated with modern furnishings, but the buidlings age was still noticeable. Regardless, we needed a place to have a great night's rest, and this hotel did the job quite well. We felt welcomed and the beds were soooo comfortable to sleep in. This is not a resort. It was a place to spend a night and it was great at doing that. Would stay here again if ever in the area again.

Rooms/bathrooms are very dated/aged...hard to tell if the dirtiness is from the age of hotel or lack of cleaning.

They are a pet friendly hotel. Keep that in mind when you book. It was kinda smelly, and our room smelled like mold.

I reserved a King sized bed room. I was given a 2 queen room. Was told it was hotels.com for reserving the wrong room. I contacted hotels.com, and they say its Holiday Inn. They typical bait and switch.
