Breakfast was very good, great variety and friendly staff. The welcome drink on arrival is a nice touch. But room was very small, balcony not useable. Room was dark and depressing.

Perfect location, can walk anywhere. Staff are very friendly and breakfast is excellent! Will definitely stay here again!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Zimmer hatten eine angenehme Größe. Die Balkone sind keine Balkone, da man nicht einmal einen Stuhl hinausstellen kann, der eingeschränkte Meerblick auch nur vorhanden, wenn man auf diesem "Balkon" stand, sich hinauslehnte und Richtung Meer schaute. Der Ausblick aus unseren Zimmern war der Blick auf Wäscheständer beladen mit allerlei Dingen auf einem Balkon waren haufenweise Müllsäcke gelagert. Die Betten waren jedoch bequem und die Zimmer wirklich sauber.

Breakfast menu was fine

Best assets of hotel are the location and breakfast. It is right on the seashore, steps to bus stops, restaurants and convenience stores. Breakfast is of good quality and variety with rotating dishes. Hotel itself looks like one from the 60's, a bit tired looking. Other than breakfast it offers no meal options We did not check out the roof poil

This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation! The pictures are very misleading. The lobby had an odor and the furniture was worn and old. The room they gave us had ripped curtains and the bathrobes were so old and worn we did not use them. To top it off, the air conditioner did not work. I had to go to the front desk 3 times before they sent someone to look at it. The maintenance guy reported that it was fine and did we want a fan. No we did not want a fan, we wanted an air conditioner that worked!! The only staff member that seemed to care was the night manager... forgive me I can't remember his name. I think it was Dominic but he was great and moved us to a bigger room with a working air conditioner. The pool was ok but again, looked nothing like the pictures. The pool towels were old and stained. Guys, time for a replacement!! I will say the breakfast was very good. Great service and lots of variety. It was the best thing about the hotel. The location was on the boardwalk but not alot going on. You could walk to Saint Julien's which was much more lively but if I ever return to Malta I would definitely stay in Valetta. It had the most amazing old town with great restaurants! Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this hotel and would not recommend it.

Travelled to Malta with my wife to visit my 93 year old aunt in a nursing home who was unwell. I deliberately selected the Diplomat for my two night stay because it is very close to the home and as i am being treated for cancer i am only able to walk a short distance. As we needed to go back and forth to the home the Diplomat location suited this and i booked it weeks in advance. On arrival the manager told me the hotel was full as it had been over booked and we had been relocated to an alternative hotel in St Julian's Bay, some 1.4 miles away. Despite pleading with the manager he insisted there was nothing he could do. I tried to find another local hotel but there was nothing available. The manager did offer a free taxi to take us to the alternative hotel and as we had no other option we had to take it. We had intended to see my aunt that afternoon but by the time we had checked in it was too late in the evening. The following day we had to travel by taxi several times back and forth to the home and were unable to see my aunt on our final day, the day of departure due to the distance. A wholly unacceptable situation and i would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bra hotell med närhet till allt. Det enda som drar ner betyget är ac:ns ljud. Den var så hög att vi valde att ha den avstäng på natten, vilket var ok då det inte var så varmt. Det räckte att öppna upp balkongen på morgonen och vädra ut.

Great location

Bra rum och trevlig personal. Mycket trevlig takpool och toppenläge. Frukosten var okej, stort utbud som varierade lite mellan dagarna. Dåligt vattentryck i duscharna.

Location was excellent. Walk to everything. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety of breakfast staples.

Mycket trevligt hotell. Trevlig frukost och på söndagkvällen bjöd den vin och Maltesiska tilltugg till alla gäster. Trevlig grej! Hotellet ligger på rätt ställe i Sliema. Kort gångväg till allt men ändå lugnare precis utanför dörren trots att strandpromenaden ligger där. Vi hade delvis havsutsikt och det betyder balkong. Havsutsikt-rummen har endast fransk balkong. Så för oss helt rätt val. Lite kallt på balkongen för oss som reste off season men säkert helt rätt på högsäsong när värmen steker.

Kleine, maar propere kamer. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Lovely hotel with fantastic service

In a loud area but with an excellent sea view and pool. The breakfast isn’t great and neither is the lobby bar, the room smelled a little damp. Otherwise really cool

Nagyon jó a hotel elhelyezkedése, annak ellenére hogy forgalmas út mellett található, mégis csendesek a szobák (tengerre néző szobában voltunk). A személyzet maximálisan kedves, segítőkész. Érkezéskor welcome drink-el vártak minket. A reggeli bőséges, változatos és isteni finom volt! Csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek!

Beautiful stay with an amazing sea view! Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset from the room was unforgettable. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a plus, and the hotel has a very convenient location. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean—highly recommend!

Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement à tous les voyageurs en séjour à Malte. Idéalement situé face à la mer, à Sliema, tout y était parfait. L’établissement est d’une grande propreté et les chambres offrent un bel espace, très confortable. Toutes les commodités nécessaires sont présentes : jacuzzi, sauna, salle de sport — une agréable surprise à laquelle nous ne nous attendions pas. Nous avons également apprécié le coin lounge bar ainsi que le buffet du petit-déjeuner, qui est exceptionnel. Enfin, le personnel est particulièrement agréable et attentionné. Une excellente adresse que nous recommandons sans hésitation.
