Everything was wonderful, just the room that need maintenance

Leading Hotel of the World category and it shows. While the hotel is beautiful, the service is where it shines. Barbara is easily the most hospitable host I’ve ever had. She is accommodating, funny and knows how to deal with people - especially kids. They need to give her a raise.

Excellent service and friendly helpful staff made us feel very welcome. Rooms were large and finished to a high standard. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Would happily return

The property is well Maintained but aging many of the current upper end hotels have more to offer

Hôtel vieillissant. Draps du lit rêches. Le néon qui clignotait souvent dans l’armoire et la salle-de-bain. Trop cher pour ce que c’est. Les produits du déjeuner pas toujours du jour… La mousse de lait dans mon café avait tourner un matin au petit déjeuner et mon croissant était sec et pas frais! La responsable nous a dit que c’était à cause de la climatisation! Sinon belle vue sur la mer, personnel sympa, mais cela ne suffit pas pour un 5 étoiles…

The staff are friendly and very attentive

The staff are exceptional and always offer a warm welcome. They make all guests feel special and go out of their way to meet all requirements. Nothing bad to say about the hotel or its staff.

Excellent property

we had a wonderful stay up to the time we were leaving, the lady on reception let the side down. all in all a wonderful experience, maybe just got the front of hose staff unfriendly at the time.

Fantastic location beside the Ria Formosa and beach. Lovely and helpful staff. Superb breakfast and dining options. Rooms very comfortable with excellent views over garden and sea

Für ein fünf Sterne Hotel leider und genügend sehr gepflegt schön aber sehr begrenzt mit Service kein schöner Pool kein Schatten zu Strand fünf Sterne diese leider nicht erfüllen

Had a wonderful stay , good service , great food really love this hotel it was are second visit and it did not disappoint! We will return!

The lead up to and check in, emails and telephone calls in process of booking and checking in was very stressful and left us uncertain whether we had a reservation or had paid twice as Expedia had already confirmed we had been charged .Reception would not listen . This has never occurred with any previous reservation I have made worldwide. Pity because restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. Reception was unreasonably aggressive

Everything about this hotel is first class , staff were so friendly and super efficient! Really there is nothing that we can complain about we had the most relaxing holiday! Beautiful pool area, food was excellent and service was perfect!we will be back !

Very nice hotel in superb position next to lovely walking areas. Breakfast was excellent. Other meals were good but fairly pricey. Service was always excellent. Considering the price/level of the hotel, lack of a coffeemaker in the room was a surprise. Second time we've stayed there and I would stay again.

This hotel was close to perfection. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The facilities were as expected in a five star hotel, with the restaurant food probably being the best I’ve had anywhere in the world.
