The place was quite and clean. Staff was very helpful. There is nothing right next to the hotel, just green.

The grounds are beautiful! I have stayed here several times and this trip was the worst! I requested and paid for a nonsmoking room, and the room smelled like cigarettes! Turnover service wasn’t everyday, supposedly because of COVID, which has long been gone. They didn’t empty out trash or take dirty towels. I did not like the service at all.

This hotel is in such a great location. It’s quiet and the grounds are so pretty. We loved staying in a courtyard room.

I loved the atmosphere. Dining room service was great and great breakfast! Mattresses need replacing. Bathroom shower faucet needs repair or replace.

Beautiful scenery at this hotel location. Robby at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. He noticed a problem during check in and quickly assisted us in resolving it. Our TV was not programmed upon entering the room. Someone from the front desk immediately came to our room to reset the programming and ultimately solved the issue. This staff deserves recognition. And the breakfast. Best breakfast Ive ever had at a hotel. Cant wait to book another stay when we return to wonderful Ruidoso!

Very nice receptionist. Older property but good place to stay.

We booked a standard room with a king sized bed. The room was very spacious, clean, and had ammenities as stated. Our room was located on the 1st floor by the pool, during a sold out weekend. It was peaceful and not loud at all. The grounds were maintained and gorgeous. The pool was not heated (listed as heated) and the water was extremely cold. The hot tub was nice. Both were pretty clean, being they are located outdoors. The complimentary breakfast was great and offered a little something for everyone. Hotel staff was kind, courteous, and professional. We were interrupted by housekeeping twice. Our room was listed as checked out on Sunday, but we were booked to stay until Monday morning. For us, it really wasn't a big deal but it was a bit scary when they opened our door.

This hotel is in a great location. Right across the road from Billy the Kid Casino. It is a very quiet place to stay. We will definitely stay here again.
