First class accommodation in Calgary

Everything was very expensive. For this price, I expect all staff to wear black and white uniforms and wear their hair back/up and the women to wear makeup. I also expect to be waited on at the pool and not ask for a server for service or told my heater will work when it didn’t. My towels never came. I had to ask for plates. No care and attention for my luggage when packed into my trunk. Details matter when the price is this high and the image portrayed on the website is outstanding. This was not my first stay here and still disappointed.

Hotel Arts is starting to show its age. I've been staying here in the last 10-15 years, but on my last visit I noticed that the hotel is beginning to feel run down and dated. It's a shame, because the staff are wonderful and very helpful! I also want to praise this place as a stylish spot in downtown Calgary, but the property needs to do more upkeep to maintain that recommendation

Courtyard pool with pool inside food service was a treat!

The rooms were moderate but fine overall. The shower was dirty and not well cleaned. The staff was awful however. They treat guests like numbers and do not listen to the experience of guests. I’ve never had a worse experience with hotel staff before. The front desk staff and manager are both rude. The fire alarm also went off at 7 am and they did not care at all. Would recommend other hotels in Calgary at this price point.

Das Zimmer war gross und sauber, die Parkplätze in der Einstellhalle waren gratis und die Lage hat gepasst. Der Pool ist ok, aber wir hatten uns mehr davon erhofft. Im Durchgang vor unserem Zimmer wurde massiv gekühlt, was absolut keinen Sinn macht, draussen hatte es nicht einmal 20 Grad Celsius.

Clean, comfortable, and perfectly located Right in the heart of the city and exactly what you'd hope for — spotless rooms, a comfortable bed, and staff who actually make you feel welcome. Everything was well-maintained and the location made exploring so easy. Simple done really well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel and fantastic pool. Location is perfect for being right downtown Calgary

The pool was nice but the beds need a major upgrade. The leather was peeling and needs to be replaced.

Good location. Hotel had a nice pool, but it got really crowded and you had to book a spot. Service was slow. Cool entertainment for the kids (e.g. golf simulator) but we didn't get served in the bar at all. Room was nice and clean.

Very nice with great downtown location

The hotel is located in perfect location and I simply walked to almost everywhere I needed to go in Downtown Calgary. Very helpful and patient staff; the room was also clean and very spacious. I had a great stay and won’t hesitate to return there next time.

Great property! Great location! Great friendly staff! I would say the maybe the toilets and bathtub/showers could definitely use an upgrade. Look very outdated in room that are updated and renovated, kind of an eyesore for the rooms / space.

Room was clean, pool was nice, staff mediocre and breakfast was very good.
