I arrived at the hotel at 8pm on a Saturday evening the day before the Sun Run (i.e. a VERY busy weekend in Vancouver) and the room was DREADFUL. The smoke alarm was hanging by wires from the wall and the window leading out to the roof-top terrace had no lock. I went out on the terrace and was able to easily slide the window open and enter the room. I raised my concerns with the receptionist and received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She said "It's not my fault", "I can't do anything about that", and when I said that I would be in the room with my 4 year old and 7 year old daughter and just wanted them to be safe, her response was "Go and find another hotel then". At 8pm on the Saturday night before the Sun Run. I asked to speak to the manager and was told there is no manager on duty until Monday. What kind of hotel does not have a manager for Saturday night when it is fully booked? Eventually I found a security guard and had him lock the access door to the rooftop terrace and I found a window rod to jam into the window space so that it could not be opened from outside. This hotel is a shambles and the receptionist is the most unhelpful, rude person I have ever dealt with in any sort of customer service interaction. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and recommend anyone else concerned about their child's safety do the same.

Bugs in the room. Food was terrible

The hotel was super run down. The reason we booked it was so our kids could swim, but they had private lessons happening in the pool on the Friday evening when we went to go use it. The pool is small, so my daughter wasn't able to enjoy using it at all. She sat in the hot tub with us for the most part as there were multiple lessons back to back…so it was very disappointing. The beds did seem clean and were decently comfortable so that was the only reason we gave it a couple more stars.

old guy is good at the counter but other employees(Girl and Indian guy) were so rude

Nice lobby with free coffee machine. The staff were very friendly. The gym was adequate but the pool area could use a bit of TLC. The adjoining restaurant had good prices and large servings. I would stay again!

The price is reasonable. The staff was very slow to check in. The pool area was weird. We could hear the neighbors as if their door and our door was open. We did not get a good night sleep.

Location was convenient for what we needed, but area didn’t feel very safe. Was very loud, and there was no restaurant as advertised. Desk staff were very professional and helpful.

The room was not clean, it had not been vaccumed and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom. There was terrible noise in the parking lot until 1:30 am, I complained twice and the staff only seemed to pretend to try to do anything about it. There was some kind of work being done. And the noise started again at 7:30 the next morning. The staff that day told me the workers were leaving, and then told me they had left, but the next morning after that the staff said she was sorry it happened again (I didn't hear it that night because I turned on the fan in the window and took sleeping pills)

Awful accomodation.

Staff were friendly. Room was satisfactory Only complaint is that the sink wouldn’t drain. We reported the issue and upon return to our room it was drained and cleaned- but after very little use, it again would not drain

My stay was ok. The handle came off the faucet at the sink. There were strands of hair in the bath tub. The hair conditioner bottle was empty. There was an small empty plastic bottle under the desk. There was a fair amount noise outside my room. There was a lawn care company that did their morning meeting by the exit door near my room

Staff was great. But the property is old. Washrooms and layouts are lousy. Nit worth the price they charge.

The whole hotel needs to be renovated. The lobby is deceiving. The room I was in smelt like musky mildew the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly the bath tub was brown with dirt the toilet tank was sweating very badly that the bathroom floor was always wet the big room window leaks. I could go on and on but I won’t. I don’t recommend this hotel
