The front desk at night and the morning were pleasant. The hotel is in a good location to the train and downtown but far away enough from the hussle of the city. The full fitness center just steps away from property is a great partnership however it was closed on July 3rd no one knew why. Great room and walkable area.

Room was clean but proper maintenance seemed lacking in some areas. Credit card reader caused check-in grief, both elevators floor indicator lights and floor selector lights not fully working so had to wait til door opened to know where you were. WiFi kept cutting out. Front desk staff came across to us as uncaring and/or uninformed. Front desk person said he was never told what IT were doing with WiFi as they never informed him and then he turned away. Evening front desk staffer said they could call a cab for us in the morning, but then the morning staffer said he could call, but it was pointless as they didn’t respond in the early morning and they never come. I insisted he call and the cab arrived in 5 minutes.

Worst part was $50 for overnight parking. All else pretty good. Best part was location and large grocery store in walking distance.

This was my first visit to this particular HIEx. The front desk was not very helpful regarding where to find points of interest in the area i.e. places to eat. The room was bare bones, not even a pencil and paper. The door could not be secured by the security lock attached to the door, it was broken. The clock time was incorrect and could not be changed. Not even the front desk could change the time! When calling the front desk they didn’t always pick up. Paint on bathroom door peeling. The cost of the 2 night stay was over $600.!! I would expect better service and better amenities.

This Hotel needs more maintenence to keep up with the small upgrades. Although, conveniently located to the train station and Cambridge St.

Great location for this hotel. Short walk to train station. Breakfast was so good. Lots of variety each day. Staff on hand when things ran out. Shame for the paper plates - but this seems to be the norm now. So bad for it all to be going to landfill. Very cramped area though for the number of guests in the hotel. Tea and coffee are available all day in the breakfast room. Plus plates and cutlery if you're needing this. Microwave in room and a coffee maker plus a fridge. Room was cleaned every day and could not fault their work at all. Staff were friendly. Although I would have thought uniforms would be worn. Didn't see any nametags either which I thought was strange. Maybe USA doesn't do this. The lifts were not the fastest though. But they both worked each day. Just lots of people using them. Close to a supermarket, donut shop, maccas, liquor store, dollar shop. Can't really fault the stay at all. except for the weather - rainy and cold. But this isn't the hotels fault!!!!! Would definitely recommend this hotel to someone going to Boston.

Very nice stay

The staff was too busy to be polite and would answer me as if I was a petulant child, the room was small, with very noisy AC that I had to shut off during the night because I couldn't sleep (but then the room became overheated), the accommodation was basic, bare minimum, and yet I was charged 500$US a night "because of location" I was told... No, it was because of commencement week, and the fact that they decided to take advantage of people. Absolutely scandalous that such a bare-minimum hotel would charge prices like these. We customers are being ripped off. I had to stay for three days and didn't get one smile from the staff... Maybe they saw I was disappointed? I will NEVER go back to a Holiday Inn ever again.

Was okay hotel, convenience will be the only Highpoint

When we arrived to check in we were told that there wasn’t a reservation under our name. I said there must be a misunderstanding and showed him my confirmation email. He said the card they tried to charge was denied and hence the reservation was canceled. We opted to pay at the property when we made the reservation. My husbands credit card got compromised after the reservation was made and he was issued a new card. The employee at the front desk said we should have been notified of the cancellation. So we had no place to stay for the weekend, 5 hours from home. Not impressed at all and won’t be using your services any time soon.

We came for BU graduations, all went very good, perfect location to get by without a car for the purposes of the trip.

Easy train ride from airport. GREAT shower.
