Rating & Review Keseluruhan Grain Valley Inn - Kansas City

The rating of the hotel must have been based on when it was a comfort inn. It needs to be remodeled and the Comfort Sign taken down out front and you can still see it was a comfort when you register. The lobby needs to be spruced up it also smelled

The room was well priced for its location to MO Country Dance Club and for the amenities it provided with a pool, free breakfast and a nice room & beds. Will stay here again.

We checked out and not even a few hours later our entire bodies were covered in bites.

Convenient off the highway. Fast check-in. Clean quiet. Restaurants next exit up

The beds appeared clean but overnight

The room was spacious and comfortable, however, our room wasn't ready until 4:00 and the pool was locked up because of water conditions

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

We were there just for a overnight. Everything was just average. Would stay again. The big sign said Comfort Inn so, was not sure we had the right place. Little tricky to find the correct road to get to the hotel entrance.

It was terrible! Checked in at 6 p.m. but room wasn't clean. I had to wait 2 hrs. The remote was so disgusting I had to use a plastic knife to scrape off the "gunk" and wipe it down with clorox wipes. Went wash clothes and w/d wete broke. Pool was gross. Found on 2nd night there was food, ziplock with pills and trash between the bed and night stand. Staff was AWEFUL!!

It was okay, but not stellar. The rooms had motion sensor lights in the entry and bathroom so you blinded yourself when you got up in the night. The a/c was noisy and didn't work well. We had to ask them to unlock the pool. The only hot food at breakfast was biscuits and gravy you had to heat yourself or waffles, otherwise it was dry cereal, yogurt, or fruit. A bit overpriced for what we got.

The pool is out. Breakfast was not good. Property was clean.

Sorry - the hotel needs a lot of updating. The staff was very overworked and not friendly. A women announced in the lobby her bed was full of ants. No outdoor space. Only good comment is that it was close to the highway.

Clean, basic but comfortable, decent breakfast; all I needed, would recommend.

They booked me in for a 3 night stay, and stole my money. Now im stuck at checkout trying to figure things out after a house fire.

Room was fine, however I had to plug in the lako on the bottom plug of the outlet because the top one it wouldn’t work in. Clearly some old outlets that need replacing. Bed was ok but not the worst I’ve ever slept on. Pillows were basically useless. Free breakfast was fine, decent coffee. Not a bad hotel but could use a little updating

Not the best. My wife is handicapped and was not told the elevator was out till after we checked in. Also we booked this hotel because it said it had a hot tub. We were informed they have not had one for 3 years. Also the pool was closed for repairs. Beds were very uncomfortable. All we got when we checked out was sorry.

The room had a terrible odor. So bad they have a humidifier in the room.

Continental breakfast could use an update with some more gluten free options. Yogurt, fruit and juice are okay just not substantial.

Motel was good and clean

Pool closed but not advertised as closed. Over priced for poor quality of food and amenities.
