Top class staff are wonderful

Lovely place and nice staff

Conveniently located hotel. Enjoyed using the pool. Hotel restaurant food was good for both breakfast and dinner. Staff welcoming and helpful. The car park was quite tight to park in, if on the end of the row as I was.

Holiday Inn facilities and staff are all very child friendly making it a great place to stay for families.

We arrived for check in to a very cold welcome from Courtney. She was rude and abrupt. When arriving in our room, noticed straight away how dirty it was. I tried to call down to reception to find the phone was not plugged in and no socket was to be found. I went down to show photos I had taken and we were given another room. This room was much the same. Filthy, outdated and in need of some proper maintenance.

Two of the four plug sockets didn't work, the bathroom smelled of block drains and the walls are paper thin and at 11pm I could hear everything going on in the room next door. The lift to the third floor was out of action. They also placed a solo female traveller as far away from reception as possible, I can't believe hotel chains still have no policy to protect vulnerable guests. I mentioned all this on check out and the girl just stared at me like I had three heads.

Was pleasantly surprised with the standard of accommodation and facilities.very impressee. I would have rated excellent. However, one of the receptionists could have been more friendly and let the rest of the staff down. I also found a used sanitary pad on the floor in the bathroom.

One of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in! Absolutely first class in all departments - comfort, facilities, service, amenities, restaurant, location and lovely, welcoming staff. All boxes ticked for me.

Nice hotel with lovely extras such as a water table and biscuits for dogs. Breakfast buffet was good with full selection. I had a family room and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable with a really thin mattress.

It was clean and comfortable although very basic.

Turned up at location and Algotel failed us, woman behind counter done her best to help us and bent over backwards, 5* service from her she was so helpful cant thank her enough

Lovely stay nice and clean

On checking in at the holiday inn ihg Norwich hotel the reception staff took payment for car parking yet one week later I received a parking fine . At no point did the staff member tell us that our registration had to be entered into the computer system . When my wife called to discuss the matter with the hotel staff she received the comment " it's not my problem you should have read the signs in the car park" . After a discussion with the staff member my wife was told the fine would be cancelled but the staff member was rude and abrupt and refused to give her name . The call was made to reception at 14:55 on 28 th March 2025. I won't be back

Far too many children making far too much noise in the swimming pool and more importantly in the restaurant. It completely spoiled my evening and I paid for a meal I couldn’t be bothered to eat. Signs could be put up instructing children are kept under control and noise kept at an appropriate level.
