Rating & Review Keseluruhan Auburn Hills Extended Stay Inn

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at this Extended Care, and definitely will not return for a number of reasons. The complimentary breakfast was disappointing. There was coffee, granola bars, tiny packaged muffins and instant oatmeal. Thankfully there was a Starbucks minutes away. The entrance at the westerly end of the building was constantly propped open - so much for security. The room included a "kitchen" which was a fridge, microwave and counter top elements, but no pots, pans, dishes or cutlery. The kitchen floor was sticky. The carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed. Several of the light fixtures did not work (on/off buttons not functioning). Finally, it was noisy at night. Doors were slamming throughout the night.

I don’t like the room. The bathroom is dirty the kitchen no work and Dirty dirty

The room number we were given already had a tenant when we tried to enter the room. Went to front desk and the receptionist was nice enough to correct that issue by giving us another room. This room however was not cleaned by housekeeping and still had towels on the floor from the previous tenant. The room had a chemical smell to it and felt dated and overall we did not feel comfortable enough to stay. The receptionist was very polite at the time we went so there's that.

Staff made the best with what they had but it’s clear this property is in serious need of repair and update.

No pots and pans in kitchen. It was a fair stay . Room was not updated but clean. Sofa bed was not good rather my son sleeps on floor . No pillow sheets and blanket provided for my son as we booked for three person. But for one night stay it was ok. But for extended stay little not considerable .

It states free breakfast on Hotel.com. There is no breakfast, there’s coffee and a packet of instant oatmeal. It’s more of a place that people live at than a hotel. Zero frills, nice people who work there

I asked for TV remote which was not provided

Upon arrival I checked in and went to my room. It was dirty! Had not been cleaned from the previous guests. I went to the front desk and the guy acted like that is common. He asked me if I wanted to be on the first floor bc he knows the people that clean the second and third floor and they aren’t good. So I agreed to take a first floor room. When I got in that room the toilet was broken and there was no lock on the window. It was late so I stayed and left the next morning and checked out when I was supposed to be there for a week. When I contacted hotels.com for a refund they wouldn’t give me one. They said the property said no. I called the property directly or tried to and never got an answer. This hotel is in a rough area and for no lock on the window and broken toliet I should not have to pay!

The staff was very sweet and accommodating. Moved me to another room after the light couldn’t be fixed in the bathroom. Decent location and looks like they’re trying to keep up with the place.

Older hotel, needed work with cleaning

First room was filthy moved to a new room floor in bathroom was wet when we wiped it up the towel turned black. No dishes in kitchen or silverware what the point of the kitchen? This hotel needs to be cleaned badly 😩

The rooms themselves were fine, but nearly everyone inside is either smoking dope or cigarettes or both. It’s a very sad tenancy of lost people.

Felt unsafe and the property is so gross

This property has bug behind the bed and on the mattress.

This place didn't really match the pictures at all. The staff was minimal and worst of all the showers didn't come with shower curtains. You had to go ask the front desk for one. And the towels and shower curtain had random hairs on them... Definitely a low quality stay.
