Excellent stay

Everything about this property and staff was outstanding!!

We had stayed at JPL many years ago annd we enjoyed it then and although the recent forest fire affected the overall lodge it was still an enjoyable experience. Much of the main lodge was closed for renovations so there is no way to comment on what that would have done for our experience.

Excellent overall stay. Michael was particularly helpful in finding things to do in the area. The property includes a beautiful hike route with nearby lake. There is occasional drop-offs to city centre at the discretion of daytime workers which was very convenient. JPL spa service was okay. Any concerns with room were dealt with swiftly by lodge staff. Easy to use transit system. Amazing coffee and food items in downtown Jasper.

Spectacular

Beautiful lakefront suite, our dogs loved looking out the windows and the extra touches they provided for my husband’s birthday were perfect.

Wonderful staff and incredible location. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub and all the walking trails with wildlife sightings.

We stooped for a quick overnight stay and were treated like royalty. We were upgraded to a junior suite overlooking the lake which was warm, cozy and comfortable.

The staff was exceptional. The ongoing renovations were not disturbing. Looking forward too see how it will look like after renovating.

The room was lovely and clean, staff were helpful and friendly. The property is currently under renovation, so not everything was open.

Lovely location and resort was great despite construction. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Welcome to furry friend appreciated. Attention to details consistent. The closeness to nature and opportunities for a variety of fun activities set the scene for RnR.

I don't like the check-in process like job interview. You go to the room, and take a seat. Ask: Checkout? Yes, please. Did you use…..? No. Finally, you can leave now. Canebis anywhere at night I smiled. Deer’ poop everywhere

We love this hotel and have stayed before, but this was our first time traveling with kids. The Expedia listings stated that there was a bedroom/separate area with a pullout in the deluxe rooms, but we found out that there is no bedroom resort so we ended up paying double for a true one-bedroom suite. The suite itself was nice and updated, but there were no curtains of any kind in the living space which was awkward. We had to build a wall of cushions at night so we could sleep in there. The resort is under construction, the lodge wasn’t open and the games room is no longer open, although it’s still listed on the website. That was disappointing for the kids. The rest was great, as always - staff are awesome, they pulled out lots of pool toys for our kids, the skating rink and warming hut were amazing.

Family friendly, excellent customer service. The pool was warm even in minus 26 Celsius.

There wasn’t anything necessarily wrong with my room. Although the management hadn’t taken the steps to update Expedia on the renovations they were having, but I was offered free breakfast, even tho they tried to charge me. The stay was nice. Although I don’t think I will return, I just don’t think it’s worth the money to stay there.

The facilities were perfect and the staff was so friendly and nice.
