Great hotel! Staff was super friendly & helpful. Great location, very walkable & centrally located. Would stay here again when visiting NYC.

We loved the books and especially the reading room. The staff were wonderful and helpful.

Modest mid town building with comfortable rooms in great location. Huge drawback is the breakfast which I paid for fit 5 nights- everything tastes like cardboard, mediocre coffee, terrible bread. In addition they add an unannounced charge “resort” fee for WiFi and a depressing room they call a lounge with coffee and a few cold drinks- definitely not worth $25 per day and a devious and semi illegal practice.

Das Hotel liegt unglaublich günstig direkt an der 5th Avenue und am Grand Central. Man kommt also mit Metro und Bussen überall hin. Zwar zahlt man 25 Dollar Resort Gebühr pro Zimmer, aber dafür bekommt man Getränke, Snacks, Kaffee etc. Ich empfehle unbedingt das tolle a la Carte Frühstück mit zu buchen. Das Zimmer ist wirklich in Ordnung und die Dusche sehr gut. Das King Bett ist toll.

Amazing time! Will stay again. Would also just go back even for the rooftop experience! My book club had an amazing time here and we stood for 4 days!

Wonderful hotel, like staying in an exclusive dinig club. I loved the quirkiness of the rooms and the lounge and the staff were genuine and welcoming. Great location for mid manhattan. I would definitely stay there again.

I love this hotel! It is comfortable, quiet, and very relaxing. All of the staff was very kind and accommodating. Being surrounded by books is like being in heaven! It is my favorite getaway!

Arrived less than an hour after landing at LaGuardia and catching a cab. Able to check in early- room was small but had plenty on room for two of us and our suitcases. Decor was cute, and loved the blackout shade. Nice size shower - easy to turn on and figure out- nice water pressure. Lots room for toiletries. Lots of shopping and restaurants near by. Felt safe walking with my tean daughter. Walked Daily to broadway for shows. Loved the 2nd floor had free coffee every morning there and grabbed free water from the frig- very convenient to have a place to just sit! Our last morning we walked to Grand Central easily to catch a train. Staff very helpful and nice. Already booked another stay.

Very unique, wonderful location for my trip plans, and excellent, courteous staff. There's a great restaurant on site and a rooftop bar as well.
