One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is helpful and very nice!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here. Not only was the hotel beautiful, it was spotless and the staff was amazing. The pool, beach and restaurants were all incredible! We can’t wait to come back again!

Wonderful hotel just outside Taormina but with free shuttle. Views are amazing, pool area is stunning. The staff was wonderful- very kind and helpful. Had dinner and Le Grand Bleu twice and food and service was excellent. A big hotel but feels like a family run hotel. Will absolutely return.

UNA Hotels Capotaormina är en av de bästa hotellupplevelser jag haft. Vi bodde i ett av de nyrenoverade rummen med havsutsikt, vilket jag verkligen kan rekommendera. Utsikten över Isola Bella är fantastisk och hotellets läge är svårt att slå. Det som verkligen gör hotellet är faciliteterna. Den privata stranden och poolområdet är helt fantastiska. Från poolområdet finns dessutom en stege rakt ner i havet, med en fantastisk utsikt över Etna. Det är en vy man inte tröttnar på. Hotellet erbjuder även en shuttle till Taormina flera gånger om dagen som man bokar samma morgon. Trots att vi hade hyrbil använde vi den flera gånger eftersom vi slapp tänka på parkering och båda kunde njuta av ett glas vin till lunchen eller middagen. Det finns några saker som hade kunnat vara bättre. Poolmenyn var en besvikelse och frukosten var helt okej, men inte något särskilt. Jag tycker också att det är snålt att vatten bara ingår första dagen via minibaren. På ett hotell i den här prisklassen borde påfyllning av vatten vara en självklarhet. Servicen var överlag bra, och ibland riktigt fin. Jag uppskattade att rummet fräschades upp även på kvällen. En morgon frågade jag efter champinjonerna som funnits på frukosten dagen innan. Personalen berättade att utbudet varierade från dag till dag, men några minuter senare kom de ändå ut med en tallrik till mig. Det är sådana små detaljer som man verkligen uppskattar. Trots några mindre invändningar hade vi en fantastisk vistelse.

This is a very unique property with a private beach. The beach is made of rock, not sand but still beautiful. The view is unmatched! I stayed in a sea view room, so I really enjoyed the balcony. Your neighbors are close, but our room was spacious and even included the dressing room. The pool chairs and scenic views are stunning. I would like to highlight the very helpful pool staff. They were wonderful, friendly, and set us up with a boat tour. Every day they were pleasant to be around. The same goes for the breakfast staff. The breakfast staff were polite, attentive, and helpful. I am America so I am used to luxury in hotels. My only recommendation is that the UNA Hotel update the hotel room bathroom. I would definitely stay here again! It was a pleasure!

This was such an amazing stay.

Absolutely disgraceful reception operation. They are working to scam guests. Booked a taxi with a 50€ deposit. The morning of the taxi my flight was cancelled and I asked them to have the taxi take me to the train which is equidistant. Instead, they cancelled the taxi and kept berating me to pay an additional 100€ on top of the deposit for the cancelled ride- which they cancelled! They then ended up charging my credit card directly without notice through the hotel (different entity than the booking). I was extremely stressed out looking for alternative transportation since all flights were cancelled and the woman stood over my shoulder to berate me about the charge. HORRIBLE! Hotel also smelled like mildew and the structure is completely outdated. While the pool and beach are beautiful, you are more in a 3 star hotel territory. Room was renovated decently but the smell of the mildew still lingers so if you are sensitive don’t stay here.

We were really disappointed with our stay at UNA Capotaormina. While the hotel has an undeniably beautiful location and the views over the sea are stunning, almost everything else fell short of expectations. The rooms are extremely outdated and did not feel worth the premium price. The bathrooms, in particular, felt old and were not as clean as they should have been. For the rates this hotel charges, we expected a much higher standard of comfort and maintenance. One especially frustrating issue was that our friend, who was traveling with a baby, was assigned a room without a bathtub, making it unnecessarily difficult to bathe an infant. It seemed like something that should have been taken into consideration when assigning rooms. What made the experience even more frustrating was how difficult it was to get any issues addressed. We raised our concerns multiple times, but staff repeatedly told us they needed to “check availability” and said they would follow up. Unfortunately, no one ever did. We were left waiting without updates, and it felt like our concerns were simply brushed aside. Overall, the hotel feels significantly overpriced for what it offers. The breathtaking views are the property’s biggest asset, but they weren’t enough to make up for the dated accommodations, cleanliness issues, and disappointing customer service. We wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Unbelievable hotel!!! The location along the coast is absolutely gorgeous. The pool & restaurant is stunning but the real spectacular part is the private beach through the cave. Unbelievable. Safe, secure, not crowded, clean, spectacular water & bar, for drinks & snacks. Really a gem! You lose the sun later in the day, so take advantage early on. Bring good sandals / water shoes. The rocks & pebbles going down to the water can be tough on the feet. You’ll love this place! I really enjoyed my time here!!

Amazing experience, the only thing I would say is some of the common areas I.e the hallways are on the dated side, but apart from that we really love it.
