Great location on the seafront, close to the train station and near where we wanted to visit (Preston Park). Staff were friendly and helpful when leaving our bags. From some reason the bar couldn't serve any drinks except coffee in the morning, even soft drinks. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Doesn't have air con in the room but luckily there was a fan in the room as it was very hot when we stayed. There's no extractors fan in the bathroom so got very steamy and couldn't see in the mirror. Overall a good stay but the main disappointment is check in isn't until 4pm, which I think it way too late especially when check out is 11am.

Booked 2 rooms and instead of putting us together we were separated by several floors. This and the fact it is a long walk to the pier and shops were the only downsides. Property was clean and comfortable

No aircon, tatty rooms, there are better hotels in Brighton.

No air conditioning. No warning before hand. They told us when checking in but nothing you could do. Disinterested staff. Room was ridiculously hot

The hotel was in a good location by the beach. The hotel had not much atmosphere and felt a bit run down. There was no air con in the rooms and a fan was provided but it was just blowing around warm air. I could not sleep as it was so warm. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were handy to have but there was no bottled water even provided in the room.

Det tog 20 minuter att checka in. AC var trasig så det var olidligt varmt på rummet och det gick inte att sova. Enda kompensationen som erbjöds var sen utcheckning. Det minsta hade väl varit gratis frukost eller avdrag på priset. Badrummet var smutsigt. Rummet slitet och sängkjolar/sidan på sängarna var trasiga. Vi betalade över 3000 kronor för en natt. Vistelsen var inte ens värd 1000 kronor

Stort rom med balkong og sjøutsikt et perfekt sted for morgenkaffe. Mange restaurante i gatene ved siden av hotellet, som var bra da det ble et lite stykke å går til sentrumskjernen for barna i varmen😀

Standard room for Big Money not happy The whole hotel was dated, the staff were unhappy and not helpfull Breakfast was just about ok I had paid for the room and they tried to charge me again when i checked out! Not a good experience 2/10

Thoroughly recommend. Right on the sea front. Secure car parking for a reasonable fee. Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Good size room.

Aircondition was not working adwell as the fridge and shower. It was 28 degrees hot.

4 years ago when we stayed here the air conditioning was dodgy at best. Before booking this year I read reviews for 2024-25 saying that they were working on upgrading the A/C. Upon arriving in July 2026 we find the A/C completely inoperative and the room was hotter than any other part of the hotel we went to. This was clearly a choice of the hotel management not to fix it year after year knowing it was required. Clearly guests were not a priority here, cost control was. There won’t be a third time.

The hotel is dated the rooms look very dated There’s no air-conditioning, although the nice lady at the desk said they are upgrading so check before you book Said lady organise me a balcony room due to the air conditioning issues she was very accommodating and lovely What strange is Holiday Inn expresses are better than this

NO air conditioning because I booked rooms for unrelated people, I thought I had booked rooms with twin beds. No resolution available. In order to rearrange some of my team, I had to book another room for 3 nights until I could find another place for 2 more nights. Cost me another $630.93

Excellent view, close to station as well as beach. Very helpful staff. All in all a very pleasant stay.
