We loved this little oasis. The owners have done an amazing job of creating a special place that has everything you need. We were driving from Taupo to Napier and stopped for the night. They have lawn tennis, a full spa, swimming pool and an amazing restaurant not to be missed. Don’t bother going back into Napier for dinner. Stay here. They have an incredible wine selection and it’s been one of the highlights of the trip so far.

Loved the room with patio and sheep out back. Food was delicious. However the place seemed a bit dated and in disrepair……. bikes, pool, tennis court. The staff were wonderful !

We loved every moment of our stay - the rooms are very luxurious, the staff are friendly and very helpful and the facilities are fantastic. It is located in such a peaceful place and it is very easy to relax and unwind here. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, the grass tennis courts and spa pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The service was excellent and staff friendly. We ate every night in the restaurant and found the food to be delicious and beautifully presented We loved the setting and gardens and would have liked to stay longer

The service on arrival was outstanding and the Hotel itself had a great feel to it. Definitely a five star plus

Amazing service by all staff, nothing was trouble for them all, meals are 1st class, Room was refreshed when we went out for the evening, lovely detail touches for our stay. Highly recommended and looking forward to staying again when I am in the Hawke’s Bay. We could not fault anything.

i liked the house with its old charm, the beautiful grounds. service was very good and breakfast was sumptuous.

Like: privacy, service,food, hotel itself . Dislike shower over bath tub . Difficult to enter /exit .mirror in bathroom not heated. Fogged up when shower on. Shower rose to low for tall person.

We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary here & it was perfect. Our suite was spacious with high quality fittings & linens. We had a very nice degustation dinner which was artistically plated ,& it was so nice that the chef brought us out a special celebration petit four platter at the end ,celebrating our special occasion . We had a very nice breakfast the following morning too .
