The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were immaculate and the restaurant was a good value. The internet service was the only blemish. Very spotty service.

Our air conditioning unit in our room leaked. The carpet was soaked. The maintenance came the following morning and tried to fix it but it wasn’t fixed. Managed to squeeze a couple towels from the housekeeper to put on the wet carpet.

Rooms were clean, staff helpful. Facility a little dated but in due fairness there is some renovation in progress. We noticed carpets being replaced.

The hotel itself was in terrible disrepair... from the wallpaper peeling off the walls, to the AC unit that resembled a legionnaire's petri dish, to the craters in the parking lot, the facilities themselves were extremely inhospitable. Additionally, there was a door that opened from our room directly into the room next door, which also disrupted a sense of privacy and security. Would not stay here again. Ever. Could not believe I was charged money for this stay,

I really liked the bunk beds for the kids. Parking lot was really tight to check in.

The room was very clean, beds were comfortable, and staff was exceptional. I could even charge my plug in car.

Our stay was great except the part where they take credit cards ONLY, no debit or cash is accepted.

Amazing slide that entertained the kids (and parents) for hours. Clean facilities.

Not a fair assessment as the hotel was taking in forest fire evacuees from the surrounding area. We didn’t get the room we initially booked, the AC was leaking onto the carpet and the security was a little light. We had other visitors running the hallways until 2:30am, kids banging on the doors and food all over the hallways and stairwells. Again, not a fair assessment of the hotel, and the patrons were displaced and just trying to survive a disaster.

Very clean and nice hotel

Be careful on pool times!! They have very wonky times that it is open. We also booked a poolside room and we were facing the laundry, for the price it was not worth it. Overall area with kids wasn’t very comfortable.

Lots of parking

Nice to have a waterslide and a convenient location, but the hotel feels pretty rundown. In our room the lampshade was cracked and broken, the curtain to the pool had holes and a big stain on it, the ice bucket had garbage in it, and it just didn't feel very clean overall. Staff was good but security was around the whole time due to some inebriated guests - security handled it well but felt pretty sketchy.

Older Buiding but upgraded rooms. Great walk-in shower with wall mount shower, built in bench and ceiling rain drop shower. Comfortable Clean Queen bed, BUT weird, large open space with no couch, chair or table. Just empty unfurnished space. Rm 105. Have stayed here several times and will be back in a week or so. Nice pool area.

Friendly staff; front desk could be more warm/ greet more often. Lifeguards were friendly. Building a little worn down- needs update. Great amenities. Needs more signage in areas, pointing to gym, pool- need more than 1 exit/entry through RFID. Water filling station would be more convenient since a lot of places to hike in the area. Overall, we had a great stay- Thunder Bay is filled with great restaurants and cafes run by friendly, happy people.

We come and visit family here often. It’s hard to find hotels that aren’t expensive. This one is more economical but honestly still isn’t worth $200+ per night. Walls are paper thin. No breakfast. Very transient clientele staying there. Pool area was ok. We had kids with us. Beds were ok. Staff was very good, the best part honestly.

The room was extremely clean. The staff was extrememy helpful ,welcoming and very pleasant to interact with. Any requests or questions were tended to within minutes. I was very pleased with my stay at the Superior Inn and I would definitely stay again should I travel to Thunder Bay in the future !.
