Leaving out the age, the rooms are always clean, have comfortable beds, abundant hot water, and, Hassan, apologies if spelled wrong, is the most efficient, customer oriented and polite hotel staff for 100km at least. Always handles my simple issues instantly. I stay here for the caring staff more than anyqhere else.

The location was quite pet friendly which was nice. The beds were clean. The carpets were old and needed to be replaced. It is an old hotel that is showing its age

Hotel is near the river however is nothing like the photos. Not sure how this place is even allowed to stay open in its condition.

Last minute booking and had no other option. It's a nice location on the canal, definitely under renovation and could be cleaned much better. Breakfast is average, no eggs or bacon/sausage, there was pancakes and many other basic options (muffins, toast and juice). It's a comfortable stay for a cheaper one night stop in. Hallways and elevator could use major Reno's. The balcony is nice but not cleaned. You could tell it definitely used to be a nice hotel in its day and has lots of potential to become itself again. Just needs work. Service was very good.

The entrance, elevator, and hallway carpets were very dirty. Glass also needs a cleaning. Very outdated furnishings.
