The room was very cozy and the claw foot bath welcome after a long travel day. We especially enjoyed the onsite restaurant that had tasty and interesting local food. On our last evening there the elk were feasting on the grass surrounding the lodge. Transportation by a short bus ride is very convenient to downtown Banff for those who don't have cars or don't want to conpete for parking in town. The lobby was very comfortable for our wait for our ride after check out.

Probably great in winter but would not recommend in summer. No A/C (it was 23 C the day we arrived) and the bedroom window wouldn’t open. Staff were unable to fix or offer solution.

The property is very dated. No air conditioning.....room was 79 deg. at night. Also, window coverings were very dated. Plumbing also very old.

The best views!! Everyone was kind and helpful. We were given a free bus pass with our stay too.

Very nice hotel/lodge in Banff. We were not there long enough to be able to use the hot tub. Restaurant was very good and staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

Highly recommend this spot. We had a one night stay. It was quiet and the view was stunning. There was a fireplace in our room. Easy bus ride -free- into Banff. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful and nicely maintained facility, helpful and friendly staff, easy access to town via Roam buses just a short walk from the hotel.

Convenient location but long walk to downtown Banff. Shuttle is best option. Room was comfortable and clean. Parking was a little scarce. Staff was excellent and breakfast was also outstanding.

Can't say enough good things about this property! We had a lovely view from our balcony, which was a treat at all hours. The room was comfortable and quiet. We sampled the menu at the on-site resturant numerous times and thoroughly enjoyed each meal. Additionally, all the staff were delighful. As a key example the smoke detector in our room started chirping loudly at 5 AM. The individual at the front desk and a coworker arrived within minutes of our call and changed out the failing battery of the smoke decector. They were so considerate, even took their shoes off at the entrance door, and concerned. We so appreciate the great service! All-in-all we thouroughly enjoyed our time at the property!
