What amazing people work at the Mercure Hotel in Lyon, France. My husband and I stayed there while traveling, and during our trip we were carrying 300 euros between us. I kept 100 euros in large bills separate from another 50 euros in small bills for tips. At some point, I realized the larger bills were missing, but I had no idea where or when I had lost them, so I just let my husband handle the tipping afterward. Soon after we returned home, I received an email from Expedia saying I had a credit of $132 from the Mercure Hotel in Lyon, with no explanation. Then it suddenly hit me — it must have been the 100 euros I accidentally left behind in our hotel room. I was truly touched by the honesty and kindness of the hotel staff. In today’s world, this level of integrity is rare and deeply appreciated. Thank you for making our stay not only comfortable, but also memorable for all the right reasons.

Hôtel au niveau d'un Mercure. belle chambre, literie au top, équipements ok. Très bon point sur le buffet du petit déjeuner, très complet et pratique avec quelques petits clins d'œil humoristiques (chocolatines ou pains au chocolat ;-))

We had a nice stay in the hotel. The property is very nice, the rooms are specious, the beds are comfortable, the decoration is really nice. My only feedback would be that the bed sheets seem to be a bit small and they kept coming off the mattress. We had to adjust them several times.

Réceptionnistes parfaits. Petit-déjeuner merveilleux. Chambre propre et bien entretenue. L’hôtel est très joli, et la literie est vraiment agréable. Mais les équipements Mercure ont baissé malheureusement. Plus de chaussons dans la chambre, les bouteilles d’eau sont à la réception et il faut les remplir à l’étage… dommage, car l’expérience aurait pu être parfaite.

La camera era veramente ampia e comoda. Parcheggio pubblico nei pressi dell'hotel. A due passi dal centro storico. Ci tornerò.

Did have any breakfast bad we was to busy

AC wasn’t working, only way is to open the windows. There was construction across the building. Amenities were lacking as well.

Everything was great! Clean rooms, comfy bed, close to center. Staff helpful kind and bilingual. Thanks we will come back. Cyrille Lajus

The staff is very welcoming and smily and the breakfast is just amazing! We are really pleased from our stay in this hotel!

Great hotel, didn’t manage to use the pool or gym but will next time, rooms a little dated with no USB charging but still very comfortable
