One of the biggest rooms we stayed in while in Ireland. Beautiful location on the pier with an ocean view room. The breakfast was delicious in the morning you receive a menu to order your hot breakfast along with the continental. Walkable into Kinsale and a great spot to stay.

Great location on the harbor. I had a nine passenger van that I had to park and it was easily doable in their parking lot. The room that we stayed in overlooked the harbor but it also overlooked the parking lot. Great restaurants, and shopping in this quaint little town. If you are playing Old Head golf course and are not staying on property, this is about the closest hotel you can get.

Wonderful location with beautiful ocean views

We had a very nice 5 night stay. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was great. We also enjoyed the bar.

We loved the view from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We took a longer walk over the nearby bridge to see the beach and old fort. Breakfast was also really good, and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant with a view of the marina. We would love to go back again, and we would highly recommend to friends and family!

Mine and my wife’s stay at the Trident Hotel was amazing. The location and the beauty of the hotel as we drove in to the parking lot was the first things that hit us. As we checked in, they upgraded us to a junior suite which overlooked the bay and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were great. They were friendly, attentive, and professional. I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone I talk to you about Kinsale. Thank you for the excellent experience and next time we’re in the area we will definitely stay with you.

Our favorite hotel of all four we stayed in during our trip! Very nice spacious room, with an amazing view of the harbor. Restaurant was excellent. The pub was excellent, with the best bartender I saw all week. Easy walk to other great restaurants and shopping. All staff super nice. Easy parking.

Hotel has self parking which is important in Kinsale. Walkable to town. Nice breakfast and lunch. Beautiful view of the Kinsale Bay.

Lovely hotel in Kinsale. We had a room with an ocean view and it was beautiful. The breakfast is also great and the food is from the local area, which is a huge plus from me. Would stay again if we return!

Recently returned back from Kinsale. I like to write reviews that help people pick a hotel!! Trip was with my husband and father with Alzheimer’s. After coming from Dingle the Trident is more “hotel” like but lovely just the same. Best parts were the great staff at breakfast. Very kind and chatty. Loved them! Breakfast was delicious! This hotel is walking distance to downtown Kinsale but not close enough that my dad could walk by himself of course. We asked for a room next to him and he was put 2 doors down which was fine. The hotel dinner was decent but desserts were better! Keep in mind this hotel hosts many Christmas parties and work functions so it can be loud and bustling. Great harbor view from our room. We watched a driving rain from our window which was fun! Bar was very quaint for the evening after the dinner rush. Overall I would recommend but next time we will try a hotel a bit smaller to capture a more quaint feel. Robin ;)
