Rating & Review Keseluruhan Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Bloomington

We stayed here on our way thru town off the freeway only for one night so were just looking for a budget place to stay with my parents and this is defiantly a budget place. It's pretty run down, the bed was comfy and clean but the water smelled like dirty dish water, the tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while and the bar, and slots area where shut down, no one was staying there. It was fine for crashing to sleep but that's about it. It was a $70 place to sleep for the night.

It was fine for one night, but I wouldn't recommend staying any longer. The website said it had a hot tub, but it did not.

They pretty much stole from me and the rooms are not that clean

I loved staying there but when we got there to check out they surprised us with that fact they need $100 cash incidental fee, we get it back of course but $100 cash is a lot and normally they take it off the card and it’s only $50 so I was a bit disappointed to hear that I got a deal to stay with you guys then come to find out after I paid that it’s $100 cash incidental fee

The room was spacious and love that they are equipped with the kitchenette.

I love the room size I loved having the sofa and also it was a pullout bed sofa. I love the cleanliness of the room altogether. It was a 10 out of 10 experience for me. They also do have a heated pool, which was another plus because I have kids and they love to be in the pool and it’s too cold to be in a cold pool, but it was a great stay and they have a warm made breakfast instead of grabbing breakfast

Light bulb missing in lamp. I thought it was unfortunate that the company who laid your flooring didn’t fill the holes or dips before before laying it. Several broken pieces. When a room has been vacant for a bit it should have a touch up cleaning. Socks were dirty from walking in the room. Also, we reserved for four people but towels were set up for two and even then we were short one wash cloth. We loved the size of the room.

It was easy yo get in and out, warm and cozy on a cold winters day

While walking in you’re greeted at a nice clean lobby. As soon as you go up to the other floors, they reek of cigarette smoke and mold. The room was dirty. The toilet had mold, there was a bucket of water under the sink overflowing, and unknown black/brown substances on the walls. We left immediately. Still waiting for our refund.
