Check in was fine. We got back to the room at about 8 pm. The people in the next room were going at it… thought it was one of those hotels were you get charged by the hour when we heard that, had to turn up the tv. carpets were filthy from being old and most likely never washed. The faucet in the shower was loose and leaking. There was dirt in the tub but we didn’t notice it until the next day when my husband went to use it. The window coverings were all loose and falling apart. The night light didn’t work and it was super scratched up and dirty. Beds were fine and sheets clean but was too afraid to check the mattress. We needed a place to stay for the night in Calgary and the demand was ridiculous. We paid $150 for the night . When I checked my CC statement the next day there was a $30 charge from the hotel. I called the and the lady told me that it was from damaged bed sheets??? We slept in the beds, how can we damage sheets? The she said that there was dirt on them and after further questioning she said that there was blood on them. ….i am suspecting my daughter got her period. They charged me $30 for doing laundry. That’s what I get for getting a reasonable priced place with shady people running it. The hotel had ok reviews when I was looking for a place and the good reviews were fake!!! Do not stay at this place or you will be charged for random things that are included in a price of a room.

Room had terrible odour, bathroom was not clean, mold and mildew around the sink, fresh shower towels strewn about, shower curtain ripped and torn, bathtub faucet turned 90 degrees, bathroom ceiling tiles were water damaged and moldy. I can see why Ramada dropped this location.

The first room was filthy covered in hair from someone shaving and has burn marke in the tub. The walls were peeling and was in fire need of repairs

Very outdated property. Had to walk to a different building to get to our rooms. No elevators just stairs, which if you are bringing suitcases like I was, it made my stay difficult lugging them up and down the stairs.

Its pretty much worth what it cost

I liked that my sheets were clean, but it really sucked having a TV you couldn’t watch. There was dirt around the bathroom sink and the tub had to be cleaned before my son could even shower in it. I wasn’t impressed.

Broken tub faucet, no hot water ( possibly due to broken faucet), so no shower, tub didn't drain well at all

It was better priced than a lot of other places in Calgary. Outdated hotel but large room. Convenient location. Front desk clerk was very helpful at check in. It’s great if you are looking for a decent place for a decent price. Would stay here again.

The staff are lovely and kind. Provide upgrades when they can. Very accommodating. The pool is great!

Slept well. However, the place was run down, there was garbage in the stairwell, and the exterior door barely locked.

The hotel was not at all what is advertised. Hair in the drain in the pool room, hot tub was stained filthy. The carpet in the room smelled like dog pee, the paint was coming off the wall, ceiling was falling apart in the bathroom

- Air conditioner was very loud. - Vacuum was not cleaned. - Sheets did not fit the bed. -There was no hot water - door handles are broken

Room was very minimally maintained - there were holes in the walls and largish patches of missing paint/wallpaper. Desk chair was missing about half of the vinyl and was very worn. Bathtub looked very old and like it had been painted over where the finish had worn or chipped? It was clean enough but I wouldn't book it again.

They need to get new comforters. The ones in our room had cigarette burns 🔥 on them. It being a non-smoking room. The place or our room was a pet friendly room. It was old and out dated, needs renovation.
