Rating & Review Keseluruhan Red Lion Hotel Templin's on the River

Our key cards didnt work to get back in our Highly Priced River View room.Had to walk all the way around the building on a cliff side in which I twusted .my ankle. Ive been in pain and my ankle is still swollen. The Staff was super nice and did what they could. Unfortunately, our stay was not a good .

The views were beautiful and the restaurant had great food

Templin's has changed since I was last there. The restaurant is closed two days of the week, the number of boat slips has increased to the point that it is difficult to watch the osprey nests (assuming they are still there) from the hotel. I'm also not a fan of the amount of open space converted to paved parking lot; mostly, that has to do with my memories of our golden retrievers tearing around the open fields. The place is under new ownership, so I'm sure things are in a state of flux. The new interior decoration is very attractive, and the staff, as ever, were both friendly and helpful.

Easy check in but no one was available for checkout. After 15 min of standing at the desk, I wrote a not and left the keys. Definitely an older hotel but the bed was comfortable. Bathtub had a giant hairball stuck to the wall, made me question housekeeping.

Sitting at windows overlooking the river and marina is calming. My dog loved the huge grassy area. Pool was warm and dinner from Dam Bar was an super way to spend my last night out on a 12 day road trip. Early check- in was so appreciated

Our stay at our intended hotel we booked through Hotels. Com had been canceled for some reason by the time we got there so we booked this hotel and when we showed up they volunteered to upgrade our room for the problem it caused us. Our original room was in Washington state and we had to drive to Idaho to get this room. Was a great facility, awesome restaurant and bar.

It was spacious and quiet area. Very comfy beds and had a good time. Just bummed that the hot tub didn’t work

The staff was absolutely amazing!! Caring, thoughtful, attentive, and efficient. The property is dated to some degree in the guest areas but the staff and location more than compensate. Definitely will stay in our portfolio

We thought it would have been nice to have had a coffee pot and cups in the room. Other than that, it was perfect! We were very interested I the history of the motel. Will definitely stay there again. Will ask for a room on the river side next time.

The hotel was extremely outdated. I did not feel that the price reflected the quality of the hotel that I believed we were getting. I worried about the cleanliness while staying overnight.

Rooms are outdated. My best guess is the last renovation the B building has seen was in the late 80’s. However, if updated rooms and amenities aren’t your jam this hotel isn’t terrible. Room was clean both in looks and smell. Beds were comfy and the check-in process was easy. I was greeted by a very kind friend desk lady who was willing to answer all the normal check-in questions. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was quiet.

The location, lobby and front desk staff were very pleasant. The rooms are dated and therefore don’t feel clean.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The bed mattress was old and uncomfortable so did not get a good night's sleep. The views from dining, lobby and room were spectacular. When walking in the back door of the hotel it smelled clean. There are areas that need updated but those little things can be overlooked with friendliness of staff and views. Will stay again if they update mattress.
