It has stairs but the staff is great about getting luggage up. 5 stars!!

Er was zelfs een service die je kamer klaar maakte voor de nacht en een fles cava voor mijn verjaardag! Aan de service en zorgen heb ik niets te wensen over gehad, ze hebben me enorm goed voorzien. De kamer was ruim en schoon. Toen ik vroeg of het raam open kon hielpen ze mij daar ook mee. Echter is het wel zo dat als je de gordijnen open hebt in de kamer (De grote kamer zonder bad op de semi begane grond) iedereen naar binnen kijkt als jij ook wat van het uitzicht wil genieten. En de kamer is naast de voordeur wat overlast geeft als mensen snachts thuis komen

All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the neighbourhood. No elevator but staff took our suitcases both up and down from our 3rd floor room. Great breakfast room with good food and coffee. Would not stay here again because of room size. We had to take turns opening our suitcases because lack of room. For 1 person maybe fine but not suitable for 2 people. Check room size carefully when booking. Overall good experience.

A lovely hotel in the perfect location (with a great burger and coffee shop across the road). Sadly this was overshadowed by being put in room 23 which is easily the worst room in the hotel. Room 23 has thin windows (hear anyone say outside), literally one step from the dining room (breakfast starts at 7:30 and you will hear any and all plates) and if that wasn’t bad enough the other wall is a communal bathroom! I was woken up both mornings of my stay to plates and when I asked to move they couldn’t/ wouldn’t. Steps are crazy steep also so take it slow! My friends who didn’t have room 23 and actually got an uninterrupted nights sleep loved it obviously. Also be careful with what you leave out as I had a joint and a lighter in a bag that was sadly binned by the cleaner.

Everything about Hotel 717 was amazing. The hotel was so clean and what stood out to me the most was the kind service that they offered. I really felt like royalty staying there. The amenities they offered made me feel so welcomed! As a first time traveler to Amsterdam, I can say that my trip was amazing because I stayed at Hotel717. I will gladly return back. If I could rate it 100000/10 I would! 5 stars!

Charming lovely hotel with excellent service and great location. Breakfast was delicious and served in an elegant gorgeous salon. Located only a 10 minute walk from major museums and a one block walk to the tram, this is the best place to stay in Amsterdam in our opinion. We would love to come back some day.
