Christmas atmosphere outside and inside of the castle were very nice and magical!

This stay five was out of this world. This is a historic castle that has amazing public areas and the private rooms are warm and inviting. Staff was helpful and hands off unless you needed assistance, the main dining room had French service and breakfast in the solarium was a great start to our day. They even had had a visit from Santa and an albino wallabe.

The staff was extremely helpful, attentive. The breakfast allowed sampling of Irish dishes.

All around great! And so Beautiful!!

Our suite was amazing! Beautifully decorated, overlooking the island and water towards town. I definitely recommended and would return on a future visit.

The breakfast and staff were outstanding. The bartender/manager Cal was the most accommodating kind man that truly made me feel like a queen!

The hotel is amazing and beautiful. Just like the pictures. The staff is excellent and attentive. The dining experience was wonderful. Golf on property is a bit lacking with dirty carts, not enough rental clubs but the staff was nice and the course was lovely.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and loved the Shuir Suite. It was fabulous and we enjoyed the excellent dinner and breakfast at the Castle.

The waterford castle did not disappoint! Beautiful property, ferry ride over to the private island and a friendly staff ready to tell you all about the wallabies and deer that share the island! The castle is gorgeous and the food is fine dining at its best! It is a true old castle so expect authenticity and a minor reduction in modern day amenities, but also know it is absolutely worth it! This stay made our trip highly memorable!

Slotsophold som var fantastisk. Rigtig god restaurant med med i topklasse. Venlig og service-minded personale. Selvom det var på en ø, følte man sig ikke isoleret, da forbindelse til byen var god.

My favorite stay in all of Ireland. Will return! The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the suites were HUGE!!! The property was so beautiful. Staff was incredible and the dinner at Munster Room was fantastic. Highly recommend

Such a lovely place to stay! The staff was very accommodating for us when we arrived before check in and the grounds are just beautiful!

Very nice Castle Hotel. The experience is worth the stay. Don’t plan a a good shower, this was an issue. Rooms could do with a little TLC. Even with the above, you won’t regret staying here
