Well-kept and located close to public transportation.

Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Super nice people. We really enjoyed breakfast as well. The rooms are very spacious and the AC works well which is super important in summer.

Aamiainen oli tavanomainen. Hedelmien tarjonta oli vaatimatonta. Leivänpaahdin puuttui samoin pannukakut. Mehut eivät houkutelleet ja Nutella oli lopussa joka aamu. Olisimme odottaneet laadukkaampaa ja runsaampaa aamiaista, jossa olisi tuoreita kypsiä hedelmiä kuten ananasta, meloneista ja sitrushedelmiä viipaleina, mahdollisuutta paahtaa leivät sekä lättyjä tai pannukakkuja.

Tall ceilings and thick walls made for a quiet pleasant stay. Staff fantastic and always attentive. Close to the old city by tram or Ubahn. Just one stop from the train station. Loved our stay.

My wife and I spent five enjoyable days in Vienna. Attended Spanish Riding School show, a Mozart concert, Habsburg Palaces, churches and museums. Chose this property because it was near to Old Town sites and right next to metro access. Vienna transit is superb. We purchased a one week Vienna pass on App and traveled everywhere. (The transit people did check randomly, so don't just hop on without paying.) We loved the charming boutique nature of JS and the breakfast was excellent served in a lovely venue. Elevator is a little cozy, but never had to wait for access.

Wiederholt bin ich im Johann Strauss abgestiegen. Tolles WienerHotel, sehr gut gelegen (gerade bei U-Bahn-Station), freundliches Personal, schönes Frühstücksbüffet, sauberes Zimmer. Werde das nächste Mal wieder in diesem Hotel einchecken.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkemmendes Personal. Frühstück war super. Zimmer waren sauber, nur fpr meinen Geschmack eha etwas altmodisch.

This was a very affordable and cool hotel. I loved the Johann Strauss decor everywhere. Even a JS rubber duckie. Room was good size, bed was super comfortable, linens were cuddly, very quiet, great breakfast. Only stayed one night but will stay again if I ever need to. Staff pleasant.
