Rating & Review Keseluruhan Solymar Hotel - All Inclusive

Property would have character if it was maintained. The service was not great for the amount you pay for. I would not recommend this to anyone if you are looking for an all inclusive stay.

Es un hotel que esta deteriorada muy poco personal muy poco comida la comida se termina y tardan en sacar mas comida no puedes sacar comida fuera del unico restaurant que tienen ni agua te permiten sacar es un hotel para personas que solo van a ir a tours si piensas estar ahí pasandola bien entonces este no es el hotel adecuado para ir

Nice beach. Not crowded. The hotel itself is older and need renovation. Stuff are friendly.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at for the reason: 1. Over priced rooms with old, dirty, broken furniture - food crumbs from past renters 2. Customer service front desk were rude and not helpful 3. Charged me $15 for lost hotel door key which was a cheap white plastic cars with no hotel logo on it. Just a handwritten door number 4. Slow service at the bar - served me warm coconut water 5. Broken tiles throughout the compound- serious safety hazard 6. No coffee pot or basic toiletries

Un lugar agradable, es la segunda vez que me quedo en este lugar (en 6 años) y el personal es muy amable, desde la recepción, hasta los bartenders, felicitaciones y sigan así con el buen servicio. Considero que falta más mantenimiento en el área de habitaciones y pasillos, sin embargo, lo que ofrecen en línea es la realidad. A pesar de los años de construcción, las instalaciones son aceptables. Se preocupan por la limpieza de las habitaciones y buen servicio, buena comida y limpieza. Pude observar que siempre estaba el supervisor tratando de mejorar y prestar un buen servicio y orden. Felicitaciones y gracias por hacer unas buenas vacaciones en familia.

No water available for free, fee for room card that was no explained at check in, cannot leave buffet with food, no drinks available after 11pm. Most staff don’t know English. Otherwise property clean and rooms are great size

Some more food options in the buffet would be nice, also the little guy who makes the hot dogs and hamburgers could be a bit more polite to anyone who doesn’t speak Spanish.

This hotel was quite a surprise, it was clean, comfortable, great AC, hot water, great location, on the beach, varied menu. Snacks drinks. You eat and drink from 7am to 11pm great choice for the price

please do not stay here! horrible, old, dirty towels, not worth it!

Habitación deteriorada, ni un gacho para colgar, focos fundidos, poca luz, toallas en malas condiciones, rotas, muy viejas. Un día sin tele por que no cambiaron pilas de control y no había señal. Áreas comunes en buen estado.

En general nos agrado y la pasamos bien, el buffet muy recomendable, variedad y buen sabor. Lo único malo es que nos toco la de malas que el desagüe de la regadera estuvo tapado y al bañarnos se encharcaba el agua, y por otro lado ni un solo dia se cambiaron las sabanas o se tallo el baño.

This place is a Dump. Do not go there. I reserved 2 rooms. There was no internet in the rooms, tv in one of the rooms was damaged and no connection, on the 2nd room tv. There was no hot water in one of the rooms, rotten shwer heads in both rooms. I have videos and pictures to prove it. There was blood stains on both rooms bedding. Visible bed bugs. (I have prove of it)The mattress was harder than the floor. Everything in that place was eather damaged, rotten or rusted. We end up checking out right away. Called expedia right on there while checking out and front desk staff did not care on giving a refund or giving any alternative. I have contacted Expedia to resolve this matter and the hotel management is evading the phone calls and not responding emails. I have called the Front desk, they are instructed to say there is no management on duty or management office on the property. So no refund 3 weeks after. This place should not be allow to operate at all. This hotel is a Scam. They have kept $1138.22 usd just like that. There is no other way to say it. SCAMMERS!!!

Pocas veces dejan toallas no cambian los camas la comida salada y no hay variedad siempre lo mismo

Pésima atención del salvavidas del hotel... No permitía abrir sombrillas y todo prohibía en la. Alberca.... No hay variedad en las comidas, los snack siempre se terminaba muy pronto y no llegaban más suministros papás... En general no lo recomiendo
