What an excellent hotel in a quiet neighborhood, and readily accessible via the metro (the Barrio de Concepción train station is only a 7-10 minute walk away) and the bus (the 21 bus only 25 feet from the hotel entrance). The hotel does have a ramp for anyone who cannot do stairs (or is lugging giant suitcases, like we did).
The room was spacious, and well designed. Super clean, too. Plenty of room to unpack and unwind. The breakfast buffet is among the best I've had, if not the best. Also 24/7 coffee bar and water station. There's also free beer and wine available, in addition to juice and tea. Tapas are available in the afternoon, though we did not take advantage as we were out and about all day.
The staff is super polite and helpful. They provided us with recommendations to explore Madrid, how to get there (via public transit), and even arranged a taxi for us on the day we left.
We loved the hotel so much we'll be returning there to close out our time in Madrid. Highly recommend this place!
