I had a great experience here, and the staff were extremely helpful and kind whenever you asked for assistance. Be sure to ask for assistance. The only downfall I found was when eating at the restaurants which there are about 14, it was not clearly understood to either sit or wait for staff to greet and seat you. Also all tipping preferred in US dollars unless you come from another country then they don’t mind pesos, but if you’re coming from the US, that is the expectation. I would also recommend getting the VIP package because there are actually really good drinks there that are available to you. Unfortunately, if you don’t select that package and you go to any other bar outside of the VIP area you will be drinking, sugary drinks or anything else unless it shots will not provide you and enhanced experience if it’s what you’re looking for.

Mi experiencia en este hotel no fue la mejor. La comida deja mucho que desear: en ocasiones todo estaba cerrado y los restaurantes más atractivos tenían costo adicional al igual que la discoteca. Además, solo abrían 2 o 3 restaurantes por día, a pesar de que el hotel cuenta con muchos más. La cama de la habitación era sumamente dura, me fui con dolores en el cuerpo por el mal descanso. También tuve problemas con el baño, ya que se filtraba el agua de la ducha hacia el área del inodoro. En un momento se fue la luz y quedé totalmente incomunicada, ya que la señal del teléfono es muy débil y sin electricidad tampoco había wifi. Otro punto muy negativo fue la humedad en la habitación, las puertas de madera tenían moho. Mi habitación tenía piscina privada, pero estuvo sucia durante toda mi estadía y nunca la limpiaron. Lo único que puedo resaltar de manera positiva es el personal de housekeeping, que mantuvo el cuarto muy limpio y los bartenders del sport bar y del lobby, quienes fueron muy amables y atentos. Lamentablemente, la mayoría del resto del personal con el que interactué fue sarcástico, con poca disposición y una actitud bastante altanera. Otro detalle importante es que no existe una verdadera separación entre categorías; cualquier huésped puede usar las mismas facilidades, por lo que pagar por un área “de miembros” realmente no vale la pena. En resumen, la atención y la comida fueron muy pobres. No volvería ni recomendaría este hotel.

La limpieza de la habitación fue diaria, se tenía que hablar para que reabastecieran el Mini Bar, nos hicieron upgrade a Suns Club sin costo alguno por haber reservado a través de expedia cuestión que se agradece. Las albercas, que haya le llaman piscinas les falta limpieza y tambien algunas estaban frias, deben de considerar el sistema para mantenerlas a temperatura. En la mayoria de los bares no hay mucha variedad en tragos, solo en Suns Club hay mejor calidad de botellas, por ejemplo en whisky hay Jack Daniels, Chivas 12, Etiqueta Negra y roja, etc.. Los buffets tienen poca variedad de comida, no hay picante, la comida es prácticamente americana, muchos embutidos y harina. En los restaurantes a la carta que pude reservar, me gusto el Bluewatter Grill (son cortes), no me encanto el Damario (Comida Italiana) y Tampoco el Tiki Tako (Comida Mexicana) muy simples los dos últimos. No pude reservar en el Teppanyaki solo abren creo que los viernes y sábados. Llegamos el sábado por la tarde y ya no había reservas. En general estuvimos bien en el resort, no es el mejor al que he ido, tampoco el peor.. Yo le pondría 3.5 estrellas La mayoria del personal fue amable y se esfuerza por que te la pases bien, los shows nocturos me gustaron, sobre todo el de Rock. Gracias por todo y espero volver a reservar con ustedes en otros destinos.

My room had a mildew smell

From the moment we arrived at Sunscape Coco Punta Cana, we felt truly welcomed. The security guard who greeted us was exceptionally kind, setting the tone for the outstanding service that followed. At the reception, the staff was very attentive, and to our surprise, we were invited to a VIP lounge to complete our check-in in a more comfortable and personalized way. Our room exceeded expectations: it offered a beautiful view of the pool and was thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials, from toothbrushes and toothpaste to moisturizing cream. Everything was spotless, and the air conditioning kept the room perfectly comfortable throughout our stay. The staff, both in the restaurants and around the resort, stood out for their friendliness and professionalism. The dining experience was another highlight, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that made every meal memorable. In short, our experience was excellent from start to finish. Sunscape Coco Punta Cana offers not only attentive and heartfelt service but also well-maintained facilities and outstanding cuisine, making every guest feel truly welcomed and valued.

We mostly enjoyed our stay at the property. Thevstaff was friendly and helpful. The dining facilities where ok, the staff there was awesome. Only thing I did not enjoy was the fact that the moment you step on the beach atea one was bombarded with people trying to sell excursions and trinkets. No matter how often you said no thank you 10 others approached you. Inside the hotel where sales people for Hyatt selling you a membership at the property next door. We where told about a breakfast next door and we where undecided about going only to be eoken up early the next morning by phone to see where we where for our APPOINTMENT.We didn't want to be rude so we went and it turned out yo be a 4 hour sales pitch with 3 different salesguys selling you a $24000 membership...WHAAAAAT??? YOU MUST BE KIDDING
