I did not like the toilets too short and there was not hot water for the shower

Large rooms, great parking, easy access and nearby restaurants.

Great location inside of town but quiet room and nice and clean

Overall a good stay. Very quiet and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good area for access to food and entertainment. Breakfast is perfect. Front lobby’s ceiling is in great need of repair from water damage. Mattress was comfortable but could use replacing.

Everything was good. No issue's at all.

The location was great. Reception on arrival was not friendly and was rushed. It was not a great first impression. The pool area was small and there was not jacuzzi hot tub or sauna. This would have made it top notch. TVs need upgrading. There was only cable tv with few channels, no streaming, no Google Chromecast or screen sharing or options to purchase movies or sign into streaming apps. Basic washroom with no little luxurious like make-up remover wipes, q-tips, koosh or mouth wash. The toilet paper was too thin and not nice at all. Herbal tea options would have been nice instead of only orange pekoe. Porcelain mugs instead of throw away cups adds a more environmentally conscious touch. Even with only four floors the elevator was very slow. Breakfast could have used more options that were not meat related. Yogurt, granola and fruit, or steel cut oats with honey and cinnamon. Just a few ideas.

Very accommodating but they should be for the price of a one night stay. The staff were nice, minus one who still have Pennie’s out as change even though it’s not legal tender.

We have and had a 5 hr drive to Barrie . We have two young children 2 and 6 . Holiday Inn put us in a block with a wedding party that roamed the halls laughing and drinking in the halls until 4:30 am . This is such poor management. We did not get asked if we were with the wedding party upon our check in . Such poor management! We confronted the front desk in the morning ( 8:30 am ) and asked for some type of refund or discount and they told us there was nothing they can do because we purchased the room through a third party . So the Holiday Inn sub lets their rooms to third parties so they dont have to stand behind their policies and customer service? So the sign that is fastened to their building out front should say " Second party rooms available " ( emphasis on the Party ! ) Really? This is your excuse? LOL . If someone from your organization doesn't contact me to correct this fiasco that just happened, you will be decreasing sales in the near future. I can guarantee this . Thank you for this time to announce the unfortunate and inconsiderate time that I had at your facility that clearly states that I was at the Holiday Inn, in Barrie Ontario. Never again !

Good stay

I will never stay at this hotel again. The comforter smelled dirty and there was what looked like blood spots on the sheets. The spots were not old stains either. When I told the front desk they said because I booked through Travelocity a third party there was nothing that they could do. Totally unacceptable.

Clean, friendly and in a great are

The bathtub was extremely slipppery!!! There was no rubber mat on the floor. My husband nearly fell while taking a shower. I couldn’t get myself out of the tub after a bath. My husband had to come and pull/lift me out with great difficulty. Someone will fall and injure himself one of these days and the hotel will be facing a lawsuit. They need to fix this dangerous situation !

Well worth the money for a restful stay!

Staff was friendly, communication prior to my arrival was not possible, i tried reaching out through hotels.com and then directly on the hotel website and got no response. The room was tidy enough but outdated
