This is a little piece of Europe in downtown Ottawa - a couple blocks off the main drag in a quiet neighborhood. The owner has been a hotelier for decades, and it shows - all the details well taken care of. Fair warning - no elevator in the building, so rooms on levels 2 & 3 necessitate a bit of a hike up the stairs. Would strongly recommend, price is great, snd will stay again.

Because the hotel was full the night before, I wasn’t able to check in early. They gave me a quiet place to take some business calls and they were very accommodating. I would stay here again and recommend that others do as well.

I really liked the friendliness and cleanliness. Very well appointed and comfortable.

Great location and lovely staff. The room and amenities were very good. There is no elevator, so be ready to hoist your luggage up and down the stairs if you are not on first floor! There is a homeless shelter and a street clinic nearby, which made me a bit nervous about walking around the neighbourhood at night. But I didn't experience nor observe any negative incidents.

Clean room and amazing staff. But i didn’t get a good sleep because i keep on hearing people passing by the street, my windows are closed.

I stayed here while attending a conference, and it was an incredible experience. The staff was so kind and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They offered to help with luggage, accepted some parcels that I had to send ahead of time for the conference, and were just genuinely wonderful people. On check-out day, I had to be at the conference very early, and they even offered to bring my bags downstairs to store for me as I wouldn't be back in time for check-out. The owner was on site every day, and she was very sweet and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend and look forward to future stays.
