Amazing all around

Wonderful, relaxing stay! Will stay again!

We stayed at the resort for two nights as a surprise gift to my wife on her 65th birthday. I choose a superior room with a hot tub on the balcony. The suite was well appointed and lovely by design. The spa was first-rate. Expedia gave us a food credit for dining, which leads me to our major disappointment with the Brentwood Bay Resort. In all of its marketing materials, the resort claims to be world-class. However, for both of our nights the fine dining room was closed for dinner. What? We only learned this when we arrived. No notice had been sent to us in advance, and the in-room binder states the Arbutus Dining Room was open seven days a week. Apparently this was the first time this year the dining room was to be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We were told the pub was still open. But frankly, the fine dining room was a key factor in my decision to go to the Brentwood Bay Resort, and had I known the only option was the pub, I would have cancelled my reservation. If the resort is losing money in the dining room on slow nights, then might I suggest a smaller, set menu? This would cut costs in both supplies and staffing. You simply cannot claim to be a high end resort and only offer pub food to your guests. We ate one meal in the dining room which was open for breakfast. And here is a tiny example of how this resort has lost the plot. We asked for two hard-boiled eggs and were told by the wait staff we couldn't get them. How odd is that? World class you say. Hmm.

This was our first time on Vancouver Island and we were so impressed with Brentwood Bay Resort. The rooms were spacious, with stunning views and all the amenities you could ask for. The staff was so friendly, offering us cider on our arrival, and even having a non-alcoholic option as my wife and I don't drink. The pool was great as it was 16+ so no kids splashing around. It was heated and comfortable and you can order food poolside. Room service was reasonable so we ate breakfast and dinner one night in our room and The Lodge/Pub had great food and service. Location-wise, it is very close to Buchart Gardens and a quick 30 minute drive to Victoria. We also took the ferry across the Bay to Mill Bay, where our son was racing in a crew regatta. Also wasn't too far from the Swartz Bay ferry dock. All in all, I would stay here again in a heartbeat and they really helped make our first visit to Vancouver Island very special. Highly recommend it.

It's been a while since I visited Brentwood Bay resort.... And as normal, it didn't disappoint..... We had beautiful weather and that was a bonus, but the staff are awesome, the room we had was great and we even got greeted without a glass of cider at check in.... Nice touch.... I'll be going back there soon 😊👍

Loved the hot tub an jacuzzi tub in the room. Welcome cider on arrival and chocolates in the room. Amazing view.

Beautiful place with great food.

We were given complimentary cider upon check-in. We stayed in a suite with a hot tub on the deck for our anniversary. Very spacious for two people. Great view of the bay. We only ate in the Pub; the food was delicious!

Brentwood Bay Resort is a beautiful property in a great location right on the marina, and only about 15 minutes from the Victoria airport. Even though we only stayed one night, it made a strong impression. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and it’s a bonus that all rooms face the bay. The views are lovely and really add to the experience. The property itself is well maintained, with great amenities including a spa, heated pool, saunas, and a hot tub. There are also two restaurants on-site, which makes things convenient, and it’s nice to see they offer pet-friendly options as well. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing stay with scenic views and solid amenities.

We always have a wonderful stay at the inn. It is very peaceful and the resort is spectacular

The hot tub suite is a must checkout! Having your own personal HOTUB really implodes the experience! We will definitely be coming back and staying again! The staff is very friendly!

What a beautiful stay! The room was beautifully finished...we appreciated the VIP treats! The view amazed us. I found the bed too soft. Having a short walk outside to the lobby was odd. Thankfully it was mild. I recommend staying here anytime!
